I have several IOT devices that send email alerts and none of them will work since they all use just a user name and password.

Sure yahoo, I like it that you are trying to keep my email safe but when It's me trying to login and you say its not then WE have a PROBLEM I don't have a second phone any longer and DON"T need one so find other ways for you to verify my account!!! and NOT through the AUTHENICATOR I don't want to have that app on my phone or computers! how about removing your ******* Yahoo pop up: "do you want to permanetly delete address from your account, or mark as Spam". Block yahoo
Permanently remove the Yahoo popup every time I delete a message. I have NEVER permanently blocked an email address from a retail vendor or blocked them as Spam. Yahoo has blocked Temu and Walgreens from my Yahoo. Yahoo has now become a Communist company, deciding what emails they want me to red or they want me to permanently block. Yahoo has NO competent staff who can never out how to "unfuck" what they just *********.

Under "this is how you sign in now" 2-step verification is OFF and is says nothing about needing the phone number you clowns forced me to give you when I signed up. Unable to provide a second account recovery email
The page to add a second email should not say "something went wrong", it needs to actually give details on what went wrong.
