Stop the stupid achievements thing
Just stop it. We don't need email achievements, this isn't a video game, it's a dumb idea and is annoying and interrupts me with pop ups. Just stop it already. Stay in your lane, there's nothing wrong with just being a regular email. You don't have to try to spice things up. Good enough is good enough! Geez, can't believe I even had to say this. In the history of ever I have not once given email feedback, I sure hope that highlights how bad of an idea the whole achievement thing is.
We understand you don't like it, Greg, but we have many users who do like it and have been engaging with it. You can certainly disable this by going to More, in the left hand navigation, and then Your Streak.

The ablity for the user to customize their inbox - with options of the old inbox with optional new features.
The problem is, the inbox is too busy looking. With ads constantly popping up, computers are freezing, and the inbox is extremely bulky-looking. It's hard to differentiate an actual email from an Ad. Its cluttered and not user-friendly. No, I do not care about "rewards" for reading and sending emails. That is a horrible concept and should be discontinued.

My idea is to have Yahoo find a way for **** ads to stop popping up in my inbox.
Its ridiculous and needs to stop.Yes we do have ads today on our platform. We know not everyone will enjoy the ads, so we do offer an ad-free experience (like many apps today) if you upgrade to Yahoo Mail Plus, but of course it's not mandatory. Thanks!

restore to traditional format - the new one is too "busy"
I do not like the new email format, not for a second. I want to return to the traditional format but do not see that option in settings. Can I restore the old formant? How do I do that?
Unfortunately, there is no reverting back. Very sorry! We are EOLing the old version. We hope you give the new layout a fair chance. Thanks so much!

New UI is too slow, frustrating
The "Theme" is the "idea" is that the new forced interface is terribly slow.
I click on something and maybe or maybe not something will change on my screen (besides more ads)
in about 30 seconds. I imagine AI is crunching in the background figuring out how to "improve" my user
experience. If so, FAIL.
I've used Yahoo Mail for about 25 years but looks like it may be time to move on. -

Right click to open mail in new tab
right click to open email in new tab. this is essential but as it shows the megaminds behind the new ****** interface havent used the old yahoo mail at all. Bring this feature back, if you even care for simple UI functionaity.
We did not get rid of that ability....

This is the norm for us and many email clients. We have no plans in changing the auto delete Trash folder after 7 days. If this is an issue, we recommend you Archive your emails instead of deleting.
As for "Streaks" yes we did launch this fun new feature, but you do not have to participate. You can disable it by going to More > Your Streaks.

Option to open message in new tab
Hey "geniuses" at Yahoo your latest crapfest of an interface took away the ability to open a message in a new tab. That was vital to my productivity. I would go through a large list of unread messages, check most of them for immediate deletion without opening, but the messages I wanted to read I would open in a new tab. You killed that feature for junk nobody wanted. I ask again, does anybody at Yahoo ever speak to another human being???
Hi Jason, we didn't take that feature away. It's still there, we recommend checking your Settings as we have a lot of things there you can disable or even customize to your liking.
From the left hand navigation: More > Settings > Appearance > Multi-tasking Tabs.

The best way to get rid of spam is to mark as spam, not delete or block! This helps with your spam filters and does exactly what blocking does, prevents that email from coming to your Inbox. So please keep marking as spam! It is free and part of regular Yahoo Mail. Thanks!

i want my old version back, you took away my old version and i cant get back...your new yahoo mail sucks...cant even sort my in box by sender....when trying to click emails to delete the delete icon disappeared...di you guy test....i will be looking for an alternative to yahoo mail

As for sort by sender, we didn't take this away. You can still do this. Just like the old version, you need to disable Conversation view under your Settings. Once it's disabled, you will see "Sender Name" as a sorting option.
