WHAT'S NEW?
Search by Sender - Just hover over the sender's profile image and a spyglass icon will appear where you can search all emails by that sender.
Multi-Tasking Tabs - Like before, open an email in a new tab.
AI Summaries - Ability to disable. Go to Settings > AI Features > Toggle Off
Number of Total Messages - Hover over the Inbox Icon and you will see both total number of messages and unread.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.

Differentiate Unread v. Read - Better ways to see the difference.
Resize Images - Resize an image within the message.
Inbox Categories - Default to "All" category instead of always Priority.
Right Hand Column - Ability to minimize: Contacts, Starred, More (Currently for Yahoo Mail Plus subscribers)


TIPS:
Inbox Categories - You can go back to having just ONE Inbox. Go to Settings > Personalize Inbox.
Keep Folders Expanded - First expand left hand column by hovering on Inbox edge until you see Double Arrows. Then a drop down will show up next to Folders.
Bulk Delete - Click on a checkbox from your Inbox and a new checkbox will appear at the top. From there you can Select All and Delete All.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.
Dark Mode - Go to Settings > Appearance.

  1. Manage Storage tab

    Just received a Yahoo! email about the Manage Storage tab. I'm pretty sure I've seen my storage is at around 15GB but I can't recall where now. Anyway. Well let's go check out the Manage Storage tab then...
    Why does the Manage Storage tab not indicate how much storage an account is currently using? Shouldn't that be the most important information on that page, seeing there are offers to extend it? Seems like a super logical thing to do.

  2. Bug Report: Yahoo Mail Print View Displays UTC Instead of Local Time

    In the new Yahoo Mail interface, clicking the Print button opens the NOVATION_APP print page, which displays email dates in UTC instead of my local time zone (Pacific Time). The inbox shows the correct local time. Old Yahoo Mail prints the correct local time. This occurs in both Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome and began about a week ago.

  3. Fix the Printing Scale (You Just Broke It)

    The "New" Yahoo Mail's print function doesn't print the email scale correctly. It shrinks the email contents down very small, a small percentage of an 8.5"x11" page, making it very hard to read. The header text is similarly VERY small and hard to read. The print function in the previous version worked perfectly fine. Changing the scale option in the browser's printer options doesn't help this. For example, if you increase the browser's print scale to 130%, the email contents disappear off the side of the page.   4. Stop Blocking the Navigation Bar with "Undo Delete"

    This "new thing" is obtrusive and considerably annoying. You moved it up and out of the way for a couple of days yet now IT'S BACK. Get rid of it....move it up...whatever. I'm about an inch away from going back to Outlook. That's how much some of us hate this "led by the nose" experience with Yahoo Mail!

  5. clicking outside the selector box of an email cancels all selected emails for deletion

    This drives me nuts. When i'm cleaning out emails, junk or otherwise, by selecting emails by clicking the box next to them, if i miss a box ALL the emails i've selected get de-selected. Then i have to go through it again. Huge pain. Please fix this.

  6. DO NOT SHOW MY EVENTS AS “3 MORE” OR "2 MORE" IN THE MONTHLY FORMAT, I NEED TO SEE THEM ALL, ALL AT ONCE

    I am having major issues with the updated changes to the Calendar, very dissatisfied

  7. Calendar Scheduling

    Whenever I click on the date, I want to schedule an event, the date is off by at least a day. Even when I amend the date and save the event is off by a day. So I have to end up dragging the event to the correct day. It's a BIG hassle to say the least. Please rectify this buy at your earliest convenience. Thanks in advance !!!

  8. Fix the Calendar!!!

    When I choose a day to add an event-it opens using the current day-not the day I chose. It also does this when I use the dropdown menu for adding an event or task. This is very frustrating & inconvenient; especially after years of choosing a day & have that day screen open.

  9. Calendar: Fix the sports teams links

    The favorite sports team sync with the Yahoo! calendar does not pull over games onto the calendar anymore, and/or it is spotty and missing games.

  10. Fix message hovers on Firefox, esp "Delete" (Trashcan) Icon

    After deleting a message with the trash can hover, the next message pops up. On Chrome, the trash can icon appears as expected. But on Firefox, you have to move the mouse out of the pane (either hover over another message, or move right to the preview pane and then back over the message. This makes deleting many messages in a row painful. It's a simple implementation bug, but worth fixing as Firefox is still a very popular browser.

  14. Split View Removal

    How can I delete (or turn off) the split view option? This option makes it nearly impossible to file the emails I want to keep. Thanks!

  15. Fixing Issues with Fonts

    I would like the Font that I selected in my Yahoo Mail settings to function when I write an email. I chose Classic- Medium. When I write an email, the font automatically reverts to Classic, Tiny. I have to consistently change the font while writing the email to Classic Medium. Can you fix this ongoing issue?

  17. CSS Media Queries break when Dark Mode is active

  19. no send button

    I use a chromebook and it has numerous problems with the new email. For one, when I try to forward an email, there is no "send" button. I may just leave yahoo for another service.

  20. Calendar Default View

    SInce your last Yahoo mail software update, my Yahoo calendar defaults to a weekly view instead of my desired monthly view. I see no option to adjust the calendar default view back to monthly. Please fix.
