WHAT'S NEW?
Search by Sender - Just hover over the sender's profile image and a spyglass icon will appear where you can search all emails by that sender.
Multi-Tasking Tabs - Like before, open an email in a new tab.
AI Summaries - Ability to disable. Go to Settings > AI Features > Toggle Off
Number of Total Messages - Hover over the Inbox Icon and you will see both total number of messages and unread.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.

Differentiate Unread v. Read - Better ways to see the difference.
Resize Images - Resize an image within the message.
Inbox Categories - Default to "All" category instead of always Priority.
Right Hand Column - Ability to minimize: Contacts, Starred, More (Currently for Yahoo Mail Plus subscribers)


TIPS:
Inbox Categories - You can go back to having just ONE Inbox. Go to Settings > Personalize Inbox.
Keep Folders Expanded - First expand left hand column by hovering on Inbox edge until you see Double Arrows. Then a drop down will show up next to Folders.
Bulk Delete - Click on a checkbox from your Inbox and a new checkbox will appear at the top. From there you can Select All and Delete All.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.
Dark Mode - Go to Settings > Appearance.

  2. CSS Media Queries break when Dark Mode is active

    Hi there! I love the new Yahoo interface. However when Dark Mode is activated, CSS media queries seem to be broken by the interface. A full bug report with screenshots is here: https://github.com/hteumeuleu/email-bugs/issues/159.

  4. no send button

    I use a chromebook and it has numerous problems with the new email. For one, when I try to forward an email, there is no "send" button. I may just leave yahoo for another service.

  6. Message cannot be saved as draft.

    Using Yahoo! to access my AOL email account, I often encounter an error when drafting an email with an attachment. It can be PDF, JPEG, etc. File size is often less than 1 or 2MB. Most recently, my .jpeg file was 232KB. It attaches a broken file and returns an error saying "Message cannot be saved as draft." It also fails to send. Please fix!

  7. EMAIL PRINT BUTTON

    THE EMAIL PRINT BUTTON IS NOT WORKING PROPERLY. YOU HAVE TO SELECT THE 3 DOTS, PRINT BUTTON, AND ALL THAT SHOWS UP IS THE HEADDER OF THE EMAIL AND NOT THE SUBJECT OF THE EMAIL. IN ORDER TO PRINT THE ENTIRE EMAIL, YOU HAVE TO HIT CANCEL AND THEN PRINT AGAIN. THIS IS CRAZY AND YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE TO SELECT 5 DIFFERENT THINGS IN ORDER TO PRINT ONE DOCUMENT.

  8. Emails Drafts being deleted

    Email drafts are being deleted when the "delete" button is accidently clicked when typing in the subject of the email. This is extremely frustrating as I always have to restart my email. I have lost work multiple times in the last week because of this. Please look into this issue, otherwise I might need to switch my main email address to Gmail.

  9. Search by Sender

    One of the key features I use quite frequently is the "Search by Sender". I get lots of emails from specific vendors like Rumble, Zillow, and other vendors that send me notifications. In the past, I click on the "..." and I can select Search Sender, and I can find all my emails. With the new interface, you have to open the email and select "Search Sender". Why move this function to an actual email? For EMAIL management, this capability should be a mailbox feature, not a specific email feature.

  10. Tabs are hard to close now.

    The new "tabs" are ****. You have to hover in just the right spot to get the X to close it, and then it sometimes disappears before you can click it and you have to try the hover move again.

  11. Storage plans confusing

    I got a strange email from Yahoo - it says I have 200GB of storage under the new plans (I subscribe to Mail Plus mobile-only). It also says I am over my quota and need to pay for more storage. But when I check my usage using the newfangled tool, it's only 24.9GB. Am I over quota or not?

  13. Allow sort by size in email

    If you are going to limit storage size it would be great if, like with outlook, we could see which emails are the main culprits, like I can in outlook. Its often the back and forth with a big powerpoint presentation or photos from my sister that can be deleted to give me months of additional normal mail space. But if I cant sort by size......

    Think about it. Help us manage the size by deleting our BIG emails. Thx

  14. Marking a Spam email as Not Spam

    I'm unable to mark an email in the Spam folder as "Not Spam". The button doesn't work.

  15. Draft email not saved

    What happened to "draft" emails? I accidentally closed an email I was drafting, and it disappeared. In the past, any draft was automatically saved in "drafts". But not this time. Please advise or correct. Thank you.

    What the **** ever happened to the arrow showing that I've replied to a message? Why is it gone? Is there a setting so I can put it back. So irritating!! And why am I still seeing the search field for suggested improvements right here when it doesn't work? Who's doing your coding these days? How many customers have you lost with the New Mail? Why am I getting a message that my idea is being processed and will appear shortly? WHERE will it appear? You took away the list? If you can't even get this right, what else are…

  18. Yahoo Mail Search History

    There is no way to Permanently Clear your Yahoo Mail Search History, You can delete a mail history item but it will reappear when you next sign-on to Yahoo even if you clear all cookies in all Browsers.

    Please fix!!

    I would like the send button or menu bar to show a "send later" icon. Sometimes I want to set the date and time of a message being sent to ensure it is relevant at the time received.

  20. Bug: Page elements can appear cut off

    Sometimes I will open an e-mail in the new yahoo mail for desktop and the page elements will adjust incorrectly. The entire message pane goes upward and the compose button almost disappears. I took a screenshot https://i.imgur.com/yWpjiCx.png
