WHAT'S NEW?
AI Summaries - Ability to disable. Go to Settings > AI Features > Toggle Off
Number of Total Messages - Hover over the Inbox Icon and you will see both total number of messages and unread.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.

Resize Images - Resize an image within the message.
Multi-Tasking Tabs - Like before, open an email in a new tab.
Inbox Categories - Default to "All" category instead of always Priority.
Right Hand Column - Ability to minimize: Contacts, Starred, More (Currently for Yahoo Mail Plus subscribers)


TIPS:
Inbox Categories - You can go back to having just ONE Inbox. Go to Settings > Personalize Inbox.
Keep Folders Expanded - First expand left hand column by hovering on Inbox edge until you see Double Arrows. Then a drop down will show up next to Folders. 
Bulk Delete - Click on a checkbox from your Inbox and a new checkbox will appear at the top. From there you can Select All and Delete All.
Drag and drop messages to folders - Just click and hold on an email message, then drag and drop that message into a different folder. 
Dark Mode - Go to Settings > Appearance.

  1. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK

    I have been with you for many years, as I live out of the US. I always appreciate your service, and how promptly you respond to requests for scans. I imagine you usually only hear from someone when there is a problem, but I have never had any problem with your service, and for that I thank you!!!!

  2. catch up

    I just want to tell the team that I LOVE the "CATCH UP" feature on my mobile yahoo mail app! I think it's a great time saver. I wish it was incorporated into the desktop. And I wish there was a way to undelete a message quickly if I accidentally deleted in the catch up mode.

  3. Missing color choices but glad to be able to turn off AI

    LABELING THIS IMPORTANT: The previous color options were great for distinguishing between mailboxes. I hate that we can only choose between light and dark in the new version. My email looks so much more drab and less organized. Please bring back color choices.

    LABELING THIS CRITICAL: But also thank you for the buttons that allow you to turn off many of the AI features. I am uncomfortable with AI reading my emails and serving up ads for what I considered private information. I still don't like the new email at first glance and may consider leaving yahoo mail all together,…

    To Yahoo Mail,

    I created an email account with Yahoo! back in 2001; it was my first email before Google.
    Then Gmail came out, and as an IT Field Technician, and someone who now works for the Federal Government...Thank you.

    I was worried I was going to delete my Yahoo Mail account back in 2023, because all of my spam and junk mail was impossible to filter through.

    After significant changes, not only to the website, but the email system as a whole, you have restored my faith in being able to filter email.

  6. tabs all, priority, news, social, offers

    I usually have yahoo mail open in my browser constantly. I really like the layout of the new yahoo mail now that i know how to select all messages. I was wondering if there is a way to have yahoo mail on my phone mirror my desktop. I like how the desktop has the separate tabs for "All, Social, News, Offers" on my phone i don't have that and all that **** and mail is cluttered on the app on my phone. instead i like the option of going in going to social delete aall, news delete all, offers delete…

  8. Where is it?

    I love the new email - design is much better that the old. At the top right it says to return to old email. NOPE, love this one MUCH better than the last role out couple of months back- it seems like forever because I did not like it!

    The simplicity is wonderful and having the "ALL' as first is much, much better. Thank you so much for allowing me to offer this feedback. Been with Yahoo since its existence - Love it!!
