backspace deletes emails that are being replied to
When I try to reply to an email and I hit the back space, at all, it deletes the entire email. I just hit the back space on a very important thread of emails and it permanently deleted the entire string of emails I have been trying to work out a return for an expensive product for. When an email is in my inbox, it will automatically send it to the trash folder and exit the email if I press the back space and it does this without warning. the reply function/forward seems very buggy and there was also an incident where I accidentally sent this email where I was trying to resolve something with the company to a professional contact that I have been working with and that was very embarrassing because we don't know each other hardly at all. I do not know how the email ended up getting forwarded to this professional contact. When I hit the reply button, it also does not automatically load the email into the replying email and I have to manually add it which probably played a role in this important email being sent to my professional contact.

With the new email software, now draft emails get deleted with no warning anytime the backspace button is hit. Poof. Gone. All the hardwork disappears. No way to get it back. This is a huge problem and very core to the productive functionality of an email interface. There should be at the very least some prompt to verify whether you truly intend to delete the draft, hit yes or no, to prevent any inadvertent accidental deletions. Really, this simple thing goes a long way, and enough of a reason why the newer email software sucks. I never really agreed to this change, it was kind of shoved down our throats, I'm sure many people share this sentiment. Sad.

Please remove the backspace key from the delete shortcut.
Multiple times when writing emails, I have made a typo, pressed the backspace key, and deleted an entire email, and it doesn't go to trash or archive, it is completely lost.
This forces a rewrite and has consumed hours and created an enraged emotional response.

I was checking my email this am and I hiyt the backspace button, it erased the entire email
would not stop deleting them all of my inbox was gone and nothing was in trash or archive so something is wrong with my email acct.
