Re-enable the ability to block senders with a right click on emails in Spam folder
Up until July 11, 2025, I have been able to block email addresses in my spam folder by highlighting the email, hitting the right mouse button, and choosing "block senders". This would then block that email and delete any emails from that same address. Now, that option is gone. The only way to block senders is by adding the email address under settings --> privacy. But this means we have to be able to copy the spam email address, which is hard to do without opening the email, and I don't want to open spam emails. Why would you take away a basic function that was very useful? This makes no sense.

The best way to get rid of spam is to mark as spam, not delete or block! This helps with your spam filters and does exactly what blocking does, prevents that email from coming to your Inbox. So please keep marking as spam! It is free and part of regular Yahoo Mail. Thanks!
