Return to Classic Mail

Go back to the original Yahoo. This is terrible. Why do I have to click on the 3 dots on the bottom to get the Spam and Trash Folders. They should be on the top with the icons for inbox, etc.

    Please switch it back Things are hard to find and read. as a business owner it has made business difficult

    I want the old version of yahoo back because,

    1 . I am dyslexic and the way the old version worked suited me
    2. I am on an email chain with 2 colleagues and I am unable to access the attachments
    3. I can only access attachments to emails that have one attachment to each email

    4. Too much space is wated on adds and I need the pace to see poorly paticularly as I am dyslexic, I need better focus and no distraction from adds.
    5 . I need this immedately as my colleagues are waiting on me to do work
    6. I have been with yahoo for over 20 years and i am shocked by this and cant work properly
    7. I beg you to help me.

    Everything with the new email is terrible. I want to go back!!!. Please allow people to go back this truely a horrible set up!

    I'm having problems with emails that have been read not showing that is has been previously selected. Also, scrolling up and down is very "jerky". Lastly, when I select emails for deletion, delete them, they show back up again. Thanks

    I hate the new look. you need to click to open a box for things that you could just see on the better version and i dont like the look of it the old one was clearer and i cant see any way to swap it back

    Help Contact telephone numbers without fees. We already have to endure all of the ads, we shouldn't have to pay for help with the trouble you've caused.

    Help Search page that will take us to the solution to our specific problem, NOT everything and every solution under the sun.

    The recent redesign of Yahoo Mail is just painful. It's more cramped, for starters--I can't even see the full name of senders. It also feels cluttered with the addition of icons by each sender. I didn't need that, and Yahoo doesn't need to be a GMail clone. You also just don't have the functionality cleaned up yet. Every message I open or search I run leaves a bubble across the top that goes all glitchy when I try to close it. You have to hover on the X in just the right place for "close" to pop up, and if it's a search tab from which I opened another message I want to keep open, I can't close the search! I have also encountered a glitch trying to delete all messages from a search or in a particular folder, and ended up just using the "Delete all mail" function from the particular folder I wanted to clear, but even that only handled like 2000 emails at a time. I like that you gave us an option for dark mode now, but despite preferring dark EVERYWHERE, I had to switch it back to light mode here because the contrast just made it that much harder to work in. I don't like that clicking on INBOX doesn't automatically show me ALL emails by default but instead what Yahoo judges to be "Priority," which doesn't do a great job and filters out email chains I was interested in, I supposed based on a keyword.

    The old style layout which enabled you to see your folders as well as your inbox was much better

    so, you can customize everything in yahoo mail except your home page. is this at the direction of PUTIN?

    Hi,

    A few weeks ago the setup for my inbox changed. I hate it!!! It's very difficult to read. Can you please revert to old setup?

    Hello,

    I don't mind change, but really disliked the new version of yahoo mail that suddenly showed up last week. The chat bot was able to instruct me on how to get the old version back, and I am quite happy with the old verion.

    Hello,
    I can't switch back to the old yahoo mail, for some reason the button "switch back to basic mail" doesn't appear in settings. The new version gives me headaches each time I try to read my mails : I beg you to give an easy way to come back to the basic version.

    I hate this new yahoo. All my emails are gone and even if I select "All" only spam messages are listed. Where the heck are my real messages! I want to revert back to the old yahoo mail but I don't see anywhere to select that option.

    Quit doing this to me please!

    THIS "IMPROVED" VERSION SUCKS. IT IS VERY SLOW AND WILL NOT EXICUTE BASIC COMMANDS. WHAT DID YOU DO? THERE WAS NOTHING WRONG WITH THE PREVIOUS VERSION. BRING IT BACK OR FIX THIS NEW **** EDITION!

    PLEASE DO NOT CHANGE THE LOOK of Yahoo Mail like you di a while back and it looked like GMAIL which I cannot stand. You allowed to reverse to the older version of Yahoo and I am completely satisfied with it. I have seen countless complaints on the new look. One does not ABSOLUTELY have to change something that works. Please leave it as it is OR allow me to keep it the way it is as it works for me! Thank you! Francesca

    Views. Horrible compared to previous. Just not an easy view.
    The real estate waste space. User cannot see as many emails in rows. The badges are a distraction. The action nav bar coming and going depending on if an emailed checked / unchecked is distracting.
    The term "over-designed, over-engineered" comes to mind.
