Implement modern security measures to protect minors using Yahoo Mail
Yahoo Mail’s current email security controls do not appear to consistently validate DKIM, DMARC, and SPF authentication results within email headers. As a result, unsolicited emails containing sexually explicit images, as well as fraudulent messages that could lead to financial loss, are still being delivered to users’ junk mail folders.
Given the potential risks—particularly to minors who use your email service—I respectfully urge Yahoo to conduct a thorough review of its email filtering and authentication processes and implement stronger security measures to enhance user protection. Robust enforcement of industry-standard authentication protocols and improved content filtering would help reduce exposure to harmful and deceptive content.
