I don't want in a league with this rule.
It would force teams to have very few bench players.
Then when an injuries occur, whomever is awake at the time
pulls in the best replacement player.
Why not have better scoring rules?
If Ks and DEFs were given more points,
then teams would have less reason to hoard QBs and RBs.An error occurred while saving the comment James Goode commented

I also oppose this idea.
.
I agree that this rule should not be installed
unless Yahoo changes its format to prevent the
league's commish from changing rules after the draft. An error occurred while saving the comment James Goode commented
So, that team is guaranteed to lose the season.
But, did you draft a QB?
If you didn't, then you also deserve to lose the season. An error occurred while saving the comment James Goode commented
I've been in leagues which have three starting QBs each week.
Having a two QB limit would be stupid. It would wreck the league. An error occurred while saving the comment James Goode commented
So, what's the problem?
Just draft a good QB early in the draft.
Then, you have no reason to worry about it. -

I think this idea makes more sense with Punters than it does with Kickers.

While I like scoring longer FGs as worth more, I'm not sure that I like the ideas presented here.
In one of my leagues, we score FGs as:
Pt.After a TD 1.0 point
18-19 yards 3.0 points
20-29 yards 5.5 points
30-39 yards 8.5 points
40-49 yards 12.0 points
50+ yards 16.0 points
.
I accept the idea that a 49 yard FG should be worth more than a 40 yard FG.
However, we use an exponential expansion in the gap.
The equation for it would be something like: (fantasy points = 1 + 0.1 * yards ** 1.5)
.
We also subtract more for missing short FG attempts than for missing long ones. -

Yeah -- and let's have a team RB and a team WR and a team K and ...
Maybe we should just stick to individual players for QB. -

n Yahoo's review of each week's game, Yahoo reports "If this team had played every team each week, its record would be ..."
That's interesting to read.
It would also be fun to play.
Just move it from the weekly review to the league's standings.
Then sit back and think about how much CPU and data storage is saved by not having to generate and store a league schedule for every league.
