I must agree wholeheartedly here! If these journalists hold credentials, they must be either straight out of school or still under the influence of the extreme left so prevalent in academia. As for the mistakes, in this modern age, that's also just extreme... poor editing that is! I admit I get caught by the bold titles but it only takes a few sentences into an article before it becomes blatant leftist diatribe as opposed to solid informative journalism.
Todays lead article regarding the sickening, senseless killings in Colorado Springs reeks of these very things. Even going so far as spending greater than half the article as a platform for Democrat politicians to sound off. Republicans in this country are just as sympathetic to this tragedy, it's victims and their loved ones! Many are also a part of the LGBTQ community. Such tribulations in our world should not be utilized to divide us but should bring us together, solemnly harmonious with aspirations to find solutions. Yahoo journalism should be part of that unification. Not stoking the fires of dissention!G SCOTT THORN supported this idea ·
As a resident of SW LA (hometown to David Filo) I've supported Yahoo since it's availability here. It also happens to be tied to my AT&T Account. However, the Leftist agenda that overwhelms its homepage has been a source of irritation for years. Please consider allowing users to choose what they wish for Homepage news. Most of us are intelligent enough to ascertain for ourselves what we need to know regarding politics and societal affairs. Bombarding us only serves to irritate, it will not educate or reconstruct the minds of the conservative. I should hope that Yahoo wishes to find some middle ground when it comes to these matters. Extremism in either direction is poor business and aggravating to the majority who only desire to be informed, not force fed others agendas!
