commentedAbsolutely messed up! Had my account for over 16 years, been logging into it on the same computer almost daily, and literally the same day I got a new phone number my account suddenly asked for a secondary verification. Now, I was entering in the correct email, correct password, using a known (over 10 years) device. It just wanted a secondary verification, which I could not do because I no longer had access to my old phone number. Contacted "customer support" had to send them my ID to verify I was me. No issues there... They COULD fix the problem, but ONLY if I paid for the $12.99 monthly Premium Customer Support Access. ARE YOU SERIOUS?!?!?! After a 30 min phone call, I am done with Yahoo, should have ditched it years ago. (That was my first problem) All because of a technicality and a new monthly subscription they are basically forcing me into if I want to regain access to my account. I can't even, I am still dumbfounded. You would think that an active email of 16+ years would mean something, most definitely not. Will never use Yahoo for anything again. I only made this account so I could comment on this stuff.
