This is my 15th year playing Yahoo Fantasy Baseball, and I can't ever recall seeing a league message that was out of line. The chat going away for mock drafts makes sense - there's anonymity there, and I've seen some ugly messages during mock drafts. In a league, you're going to be dealing with these people for six months, so it makes sense to be at least somewhat respectful. I've even seem some messages where someone had a personal problem and had to drop out for a time generate sympathetic responses.

I've seen what a cluster the main Yahoo news message boards are - you post a message, and it's never seen again. That being said, that needs fixed, and this is messed up. This is my 15th year playing Fantasy Baseball. I can count on one finger the time someone was abusive on the message board. There were way more times that it was real community, including expressions of sympathy/concern when someone had a death in the family and had to drop out. I'm sorry you find this hard, Yahoo, but it's what you signed up for, and what we thought we were getting.
