The Ads feedback mechanism is a farce.

The Adobe Flash player is a security risk- and Yahoo should not be accepting advertisements that use it. It is Yahoo's responsibility to monitor the ads that THEY post on THEIR site.

The ads that do not allow you to stop video, or that take up large amounts of screen real-estate that the user cannot close are the types of things that drive users to use ad-blockers. That causes you to lose even more revenue.

It is Yahoo's responsibility to monitor the advertisements that they allow to be posted on their site.

Allowing users to filter out news "sources" they don't like will resolve this issue and many more.

Again, allowing users to "dislike" news sources (and enforcing it for the user) will take care of these issues.

Adding a feature that will allow people to ignore sources will take care of all these complaints. Those sources that complain about the lack of click-throughs can then be told that they are not as popular as they think they are. Not a bad thing.

These are deceitful at best. Also, no matter what I select to make them go away, they keep returning. Put the Ads in the advertisement spaces. There is no need to put them in the news feed.

Autoplaying videos do nothing but drive people away from your site, cause you to lose views and therefore revenue.

Particularly irritating are the ads that autoplay and will not let you stop them or turn off the sound.

In regards to the erudite commentator above, would he care to elaborate how to filter by news source, which I have not found. The only filter that I can find is by topic.

I can understand Apple waving large amounts of cash under Yahoo's nose for a large banner add on the homepage- you are a business, I get it. However, to not have that one add allow the user to cancel it and make it go away like EVERY OTHER AD that you have? Really? The message that you send to your users by doing this is not encouraging at all.
