Historical data download no longer working
Historical data Download all stocks
Gives this error... (Did this historical download become a premium feature last week? I have gratefully used this feature every Saturday for many years.)

The ability to copy them to the clipboard was important because saving a .csv to the disk, opening it in Excel takes time. Easier to just paste it in an app or homemade Visual Studio program that uses the information.

Anyone who wants to use historical stock price data needs to have this working properly. It's been broken for over a month. Please fix.

It is worst now after the new upgrade. All historical price data are read only and cannot be copied or downloadable.

Yahoo just undercut a lot of work by a lot of people. Problem needs fixed. In meantime, looking to non-yahoo alternatives.
Excel's STOCKHISTORY is a viable FREE (if you use Excel 365) alternative.
Once you see all the EXCEL features - you'll never wished you had never, never used Yahoo's historical data.
SRSLY

Please bring back csv download feature for historical price and dividend data. I'm just a small private investor and use this data only for personal use. This is my second request to restore the old feature and received no feedback on the status of my first request. I'd really appreciate if you could make this functional again otherwise your site is of limited value to me. Thank you.

I just discovered this after coming back from leave. Most frustrating. Is there going to be a solution?

“I can no longer download historical stock value files for the S&P 500. I did it for a long time, but their site no longer allows me to. Do I need to subscribe and pay a monthly fee? If so, can you guide me on how to do it?”

What is the ETA for a fix? This has been down for a while and causing me headaches. If not fixed soon, it will be time to abandon Yahoo Finance for another supplier since I use downloadable data in this format regularly and don't like switching between apps.

IN the HTTP response headers I get a HTTP status code of 401 which means "unauthorized". Is there any way to become authorized?

Downloading anything other than the past year of historical prices gives an error that didn't used to be. The message says:
finance
result null
error
code "forbidden"
description "User is unable to access this feature - https://bit.ly/yahoo-finance-api-feedback"If I set the time period for MAX, I used to be able to download a file with the data, which was very useful, especially after a stock splits. Now the data doesn't download at all.
