Make the extra market/index display on the top right of the portfolio display optional. Wastes too much screen area.
Make the extra market/index display on the top right of the portfolio display optional. Wastes too much screen area on unrequested info, and cuts off portfolio columns. It also leaves about 20% of the screen below it empty. Also, why the large left margin -- more wasted screen area. Thanks.

The SORT FUNCTION ON PORTFOLIO PAGE DOESN'T WORK! Why do you have to always change the things for the worse. Don't you test before. @#$%^
FIX SORT! or change it back to the way it was.

reordering portfolio
reordering portfolio is not working well anymore, you can only move a ticker 1 page length and then you have to place it, move the slide bar up and down and then move it again. This takes mulitople moves to reposition a ticker to the bottom or top of a page if you have a long list.

Pan left and right buttons in "Portfolio" mode
Can you add something like a left (<) and a right (>) pan button (or some other way to pan left and right) in Yahoo Finance "Portfolio's mode somewhere that is always visible. Panning left or right works fine on a phone or tablet but is very awkward on a PC (you have to scroll down to the bottom of the portfolio to access the Pan bar then scroll back up to where you were working.

New Portfolio is awful.
Can't even expand all holdings with a single click anymore. Pathetic!

Portfolio 2.1 which popped up with the new Yahoo Finance is horrible.
Portfolio 2.0 was not all that bad - once you fixed the obvious design errors, but version 2.1 which appeared with the new Yahoo finance page is a horrible downgrade from what we had, used, and enjoyed. If you won't admit the error, at least give us the option to revert back.

Please eliminate, or allow the elimination, of the new right hand column. It cuts off the information I want in the portfolio view I use.

Quote Lookup and Markets Sidebar Eating Portfolio Real Estate
Whose brilliant idea was it to place quote lookup and market data to the right of a portfolio so that it's now cut off unless you scroll to the right at the bottom of a massive portfolio?
There's a symbol search right next to the Yahoo finance logo. And the market needs a way to be removed. Stop fixing things that aren't broke just to make the banner ad bigger.17th ranked -
Provide a way to hide or remove the widget dock at the right side of the screen so more columns can be viewed in the portfolio.
Provide a way to hide or remove the widget dock at the right side of the screen so more columns can be viewed in the portfolio display (instead of scrolling off screen). Currently the "Markets" widget can not be removed.

go back to horizontal market snapshots. When vertical, the % change is only 1 digit
go back to posting Market data Horizontally. When vertical the % change is too short

After allowing the dock to be hidden, please remove side margins. A lot more of a portfolio will display without them
The side margins you have prevent a portfolio from displaying completely as it used to on the earlier system. This appears to be a throwback to the ancient AOL windows. It may look nice to people who don't use the site but it's very almost immature for a seasoned user and is annoying. Thanks.

Permanently alphabetize tickers in portfolio without drag and drop.
I should be able to click on "reorder symbols" and then with one or two clicks be able to sort all ticker alphabetically and then save the new order. The "classic" Yahoo portfolios provided this capability. The "new" Yahoo portfolios does not, it forces me to drag and drop each individual ticker in the alphabetical position in the portfolio. What used to take seconds will literally take me hours as I have multiple large portfolios and the drag and drop feature is extremely slow. This is just unacceptable, please restore the classic functionality. This is one of many things wrong…

The new version of Portfolio 2.0 sucks and you should really go back to the legacy version. But at least you van do is put in a fixed header
You should go back to the legacy portfolio.
At the least you can:
1) put in a fixed header row so when you scroll thru a portfolio you know what the column is.
2) Go back to the down arrow for each security for additional information ( hi/low target, cost basis, etc ) like you used to.
3) or just go back to the legacy view and make everyone happy.
4) read # 3
5) fire your programers

The new enhanced portfolio is slow, inefficient, processor hog.
The fan comes on to cool the processor. This version is inefficiently written. There was nothing wrong with the Classic View. There is nothing being gained with enhanced. The charts barely load and very difficult to add comparisons. Give us Classic back. Do an Enhanced Version re-write with more efficient less processor intensive coding,

If a stock has no trades today, the numbers are stuck on the last day it was traded on. This also screws up aggregate portfolio numbers.
