When I click on a link, I want to read the article. I don't like that you give a short bit of information and then say read more. Clearly, this is Manipulation to try to boost traffic.

  6. I switched my home page, because you ruined the comments sections for news stories.

Yahoo ruined the comments section on news stories, so I'm switching my homepage to another provider. Posting is difficult, and yahoo has taken away the capability to monitor my previous comments..

  9. Remove profanity

Please screen news articles for appropriate language. The story headlined "Freakish eel-like sea creature shows up on Australian beach" included an obscenity in its first line as printed on your website on February 16, 2016.

  10. Don't restart autoplay videos after I stop them.

If I stop the autoplay videos, then open a page in another tab to read a news story, then close that tab and go back to the original page, the autoplay starts again,. Not cool. Knock it off. People have data caps.

  12. Article titled "Freakish eel-like sea creature shows up on Australian beach" has profanity within the teaser!?!?!?

Whatever algorithm you are using to bring in news articles should exclude any with 4 letter words. Especially in the teaser!!!

  13. I absolutely hate the new yahoo homepage. Please go back to the old version.

Bring back the old yahoo web page this one sucks. I hate clicking on a story to read more and there isn't one. I don't like that I can't read the latest news only what is posted and it seems because I click on one certain type of article that is the only thing that comes up on my home page. I don't know who had this brilliant idea to change it to this new format but it is awful and not as user friendly.

  14. I will be Blocking Yahoo from all our computers due to the vulgar language that is being used on here now. Children can see this sight.

The vulgar language being used on Yahoo here recently is tasteless and void of any class at all. Yahoo is now blocked from all my computers.
I have noticed the trend of very progressive & "poor" journalism on Yahoo news. The language is merely a byproduct of the amateur and dumbed downed writings.

You have changed the Yahoo main page by making it necessary to load an extra page if I want to read a particular story. I just clicked on a story about Charlie Daniels' open letter to America which includes the first 2 lines of the story. This brings me to a second page with 9 lines of the story I am trying to get to. The first 2 lines from the first page are repeated here. In order to read the actual story, I have to click Read More. If I fall into the trap of reading the 9 lines…

  19. make bots editing curse words better

It's admirable that you have a bot that replaces obscenities with @$%@$! on comments, but it could be a bit more sophisticated. For example, comments on an article about early man changed Hom_o Sapiens to #$!$ Sapiens. Stupid bots.

  20. A Passionate Plea

Place the American people, not profits, as your first priority. Take on the responsibility once again of being a protective layer between the government and Citizens. You do this by refusing to simply regurgitate the same ole message found in the main stream media. Become skeptical again of the U.S. Government. Be willing to be politically INcorrect in exchange for truth. Ask questions, research the information. Re-dedicate yourself to the Truth. If you don't, we will simply look elsewhere. We are tired of the lies, the propaganda, the self-serving politicians and the corporations paying lawmakers to do things their way.…
