Can we get an update on this??

Well it's 2025 and Marcell Ozuna has only played 2 games in the OF in 2023 and 0 games in 2024 and still has OF eligibility. With all the tech wizards in the world you think that Yahoo would hire a few.

Fact- JD Martinez did not play a single inning in the field last year, at any position. So how is he eligible in LF this year?

According to Yahoo rules, batters need either 5 Games Started or 10 Games Played at a position to gain eligibility.
Yandy Díaz is currently listed as 3B eligible in addition to the correctly assigned 1B eligibility, even though he only started 3 games at 3B, and played at 3B in only 6 games altogether in 2023

These need to be corrected. -

Yandy Diaz appeared in 6 games total at 3B in 2023, only 3 starts. He does not meet Yahoo's eligibility requirements, yet @YahooFantasyCC on Twitter told me that they "determined he should still have the designation." As this is a fairly prominent player, I feel like a real explanation is owed, or otherwise a correction to the error.

How are these inaccurate? Witt exclusively played SS in 2023, Semien exclusively played 2B.

Definitely not accurate. There are a good amount of players who played the minimum requirements for multi positions and they don't have them.
Ie b witt should be ss and 3b
M semien should be 2b and ssYahoo update!!!

Taysome is used as a wr, te, QB, or RB. I want to put him @ RB please. I got so few RBs I likely will need him at RB soon. Please please please.

Starting pitchers like Corbin Burnes shouldn’t be allowed to be put in the RP spot. If it takes 5 appearances to gain position eligibility why not make it if in a 25(approximately 1 month) game stretch a player fails to appear at a position they lose that position eligibility.

Draft accordingly, players should be rewarded for their flexibility to play multiple postions.

The commissioner should be able to set the position eligibility to however many games that the league deems appropriate. For example, there should be an option for 3 games started and 6 games played.

I agree. In a points based league, the SP/RP loophole needs to be fixed. Using a closer that has SP eligibility gives a huge advantage when there is a cap on IP. We need to be able to close this loophole.

But....if Holt doesn't re-qualify for 1B this year, he won't have 1B next year.

The positions a player is eligible for should be able to be customized for the league. For example, a league should be able to require a player to play a certain position for 50 games rather than the standard 10 in order to gain new eligibility. Brock Holt being able to be someone's starting 1B is ridiculous.
