I haven't been able to use auto draft since Yahoo made it impossible to exclude multiple players at a time. Completely useless going 1 at a time.

I enjoy streaming leagues with daily activity. I wouldnt set maximums in my leagues because it helps make for inactive managers.
Most players want active managers, and Inwould prefer not to reward lazy players. -

Just another note: The Chat doesn't work when you are arranging a new league and still haven't drafted. I have no way to communicate with players who don't check yes to emails on their team settings. Many change it to no or use a remote email they don't use often.
And literally no players ever see the Commissioner Note. It's not available on the mobile app which most players use and is not readily visible when using a browser whether on a computer or a smartphone browser.I regret ever allowing email notifications for this "idea" as my personal email account has overflowed with complaints about you not having message boards this season. You implied changes were coming and_or this is not permanent. I pray for this to be true for the health of Yahoo Fantasy and for my email account.

Now, I have 2 leagues in which League messenger doesn't even show up. Without the more dependable Message Board that leaves players only emails with which to communicate.
Ridiculous because many players turn off the email settings. Please explain to your clients why this poor decision to remove the message board was made.

FanTrax doesn't allow for people that don't know each personally to join each other's leagues. If they did, I would have been gone years ago.

Are you insane. This is the #1 way I communicate with league members. And that is because the overwhelming number of players communicate with me that way. Will this be fixed?!?
Players don't all set their team settings tonallow emails and many don't ever use messenger.
And they never look at the Commissioner Notes because they are buried in your set up. I post important disclaimers regarding fair play, correcting your errors, and league settings

I agree. Players drafting Shohei should be able to use him in both hitting and pitching just like the Angels do.

Maybe for the goons who dont know pitching, Yahoo could separate pitcher and batter transactions for Commissioner settings.
But, in my view streaming mirrors todays game better anyway. Real teams are now using 6-7 pitcher rotations, adding 27th player for DHs, and sending pitchers up and down from the minors like crazy. Add in openers, and you got a real need to stay on top of things.
For the players who cant keep up, just play a weekly league that locks your lineups.
The rest of us enjoy the real game.
Plus, steaming pitchers is no guarantee of anything.
I commission a variety of leagues. The best way to limit streaming with Pt leagues is to use 12 or more team leagues. 14 teams will really fdonthe trick.
Also, your commissioner can take the time to set up the points to punish losses more heavily, and not reward as much for IP or QS, etc.
I have one league like this with 10 teams and a lot of available streaming options. However, most of the streams lose the player points as they are the pitchers nobody wanted anyway. The player has to really pay attention to matchups, etc to get rewarded. Making that choice of giving someone else up doesnt always pay either. You got to give to receive. As the Season goes along 60day and 90day stat totals averages become a valuable tool that no one seems to supply. Season totals dont always work because many players start off terrible. 30 days is too short a time frame to judge a guy for anything more than a hot spell. See Bryce Harper as an example.
With the stats you now offer, they lowball many players who arent on a current hot streak that may have started off cold in April.
These numbers seem to be nowhere available on the Internet.

Unfortunately, the Start Active Players function is useless in Baseball because it often removes relievers from scoring positions that necessitate going back and redoing the line up for each day defeating the purpose of the function, and potentially causing errors.
Yeah, My private prize leagues were ruined as a result of the way you handled it as I remember. Completely unfair to the players to have an entire 6 months of work destroyed that way. But, the NFL is mostly to blame obviously. They were forced to capitulate to a soft society.
