The mobile site player page has regressed terribly used to have all the necessary info.

Yahoo, It's the little things that often count in user experience. Like this suggestion. You can revamp the website layouts and colors and popup modules, but if the details and information displayed in those redesigns are ignored then all of your "redesign" work is time wasted.

The fact that this has to be requested and was not built in to the player card 15 years ago is insane. This is such a basic piece of information AND would not be difficult at all to implement. Come on Yahoo, figure it out. Also, this was posted a year and a half ago, how much feedback do you need? Just do it you greedy fools.

This would be awesome.

Yes they need this option in the app so you can quickly determine what way the batter bats...

It is annoying to click on every single batter to see what stance they bat in when determining matchups, especially if you are in a league where you make several adds every week. I think it can be quite helpful to put a (R), (L), or (S) somewhere next to the batters name or after their position label so we can quickly see the matchup.

This should be extraordinarily easy to implement and would be super nice...

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE just put an R, L, or S next to each batters name in their respective pop-up boxes. I asked the same thing last season. For the love of God, why in the **** do we have to open a new page in order to find out if a player bats righty or lefty? Just ridiculous. ESPN crushes Yahoo on ease of finding info and searching for a player.

I agree. Your pop-up blurbs on hitters also don't have Left, Right or Switch listed. You have to have a second screen open to some other site to check on this simplest of information or memorize all hitters in baseball since the same problem occurs when looking at players in the free agent pool.

Cripes! How hard is it to put an 'R' or an 'L' next to his name?!!!! C'mon!

Yep having to click from "opponent" and then back to vs Left or vs Right to see that players stats vs that handed pitcher for every single decision makes it difficult.
Would be great if you could add a new column for this ....or just add it to the Matchup screen because I think a hitter's record vs that handed pitcher is WAY more telling than vs that individual pitcher. who he could have face in a bazillion scenarios.

I like using matchup ratings to set my lineup. However, one glaring and missing item is what side of the plate do my hitters hit from. Sometimes the best decision on who I should start comes down to left/right matchups. But while the matchup ratings tells me if a pitcher is LHP or RHP, the hitters do not. Can you add that so we don't have to click over and load a profile page for the batter to see if he bats left or right to get the right matchups? It could be easily added under the player's name in the matchup ratings or to the play info card. Thank you.

Yahoo! is targeting the end of April. If they don't make it, they numbers show up when they show up.
