[Chat/Message Boards] Message Board Removal Feedback
Feedback regarding the removal of message boards from Fantasy Baseball in the 2023 season.
Fantasy league message boards are not going to be available for the current season however you can still access historical message board posts through your fantasy profile. You can continue to communicate with your league via Fantasy Chat, email and commissioner notes. Moving forward we are investing in chat as the best place for league communication and will be adding threading, pinning, polls and more. We welcome your feedback below about how your league used message boards to help us make future improvements.

We've been using Yahoo! for our league since day one and this will no doubt end that. WHY? There cannot be that much cost/time involved to support the message board, since it is only marginally useful to begin with... but it is at least an easy way to communicate with the league that doesn't require you to start sending mass e-mail messages. You should seriously reconsider this.

This has to be a sick joke right? You are going to lose a ton of users to competitors.

This is a terrible decision. We use the message board to act as a historical record. We use it to track who's keeping who in a single place so that the commish doesn't have to manage a million emails. Just a terrible, terrible decision to remove it. You've created a solution to a problem that did not exist.

Are you kidding me???!!! We use the league message board to communicate everything about our league. This is a deal breaker!

Agree with the thousands who can't believe you've deleted the only communication tool that allows you to post - and keep posted - league rules, keeper pickups, etc. We do unique leagues on Yahoo and often tell new players to "read the league rules on the message board." How will they see them now? On your phone app's chat? Please. No one wants to scroll for 20 minutes on a chat to go back and see 15 posts with unique league rules. Can't fathom why you'd delete this feature?

We are using a message board to complain to you that you have taken away our message board. If that isn't the definition of ludicrous on Yahoo's part, I don't know what is.
Whoever thought taking away the most essential communication tool at the beginning of a fantasy season should have their toenails ripped out... -

Our fantasy baseball league is a group of people all over the country. We post keepers, vote on draft selections and have general discussions through message boards. We cannot stay on Yahoo platform. I have already moved all of my Fantasy Football leagues to sleeper and now I will look for my baseball leagues.

It's also assuming everyone has easy access to a smart phone. That is discriminatory!

The message board is for important info that will get lost in the smack talk of the chat board.

Are you insane. This is the #1 way I communicate with league members. And that is because the overwhelming number of players communicate with me that way. Will this be fixed?!?
Players don't all set their team settings tonallow emails and many don't ever use messenger.
And they never look at the Commissioner Notes because they are buried in your set up. I post important disclaimers regarding fair play, correcting your errors, and league settings

Horrible decision to remove the message boards. it is how our league communicated and even at times drafted. No one uses the chat in my league. I have no clue on how to communicate with my league in a way that I know everyone will see it now. Thanks yahoo for making a decision without talking to those of us who use your product.

Bring the message boards back!!! It's fine to add and make the 'fantasy chat' better but no need to get rid of the message boards!!! C'mon yahoo!

I'd encourage everyone here to voice their grievances to @YahooFantasy on twitter. People will see it there. Here it'll just get ignored.

I want to get rid of this player-Tatis Jr. He is on the No trade list, but he is suspended. He is no use to me. How can I go about this ?

Bring back the Message Board! The League has to have a way for keeping long term messages on issues and just general comments from everyone!

Sabotage? Message boards taken away which we all know is nonsense. Now, individual player pages wiped of season/career/split stats.
