Stat corrections for suspended games should apply to the day those stats were actually recorded
When a game is suspended and resumed later in the week new starting pitching will often come into the game, and this often takes the place of their regularly scheduled weekly start. However, managers aren't able to know this beforehand, and if that player is on their bench the day the game starts (considering there is no reason to have them in the lineup if they aren't scheduled to start that day) those stats for the week will go to waste. I believe this system needs to be revised to either allow managers to retroactively change their roster for suspended games like this, or, preferably, stats should be awarded on the day in which they are actually recorded. A failure to do this could cost users money in public prize leagues.

The platform’s inability to count a starting pitcher’s stats on the day that the starting pitcher actually pitched is ridiculous, and frankly, needs to change.
Joe Ryan pitched in the suspended game from Monday, 5/19 on Wednesday, 5/21. Why would I have a starting pitcher who was not starting in my lineup on Monday for a game he was not starting? Instead, I put Joe Ryan in my lineup on Wednesday, the day he actually pitched. As such, I should receive his stats and innings pitched for Week 8.
This needs to be resolved, immediately.
