Don't push trades from 2 days to 3 days because one team member vetoed a fair trade that is going to be processed.
I recently made a trade that was accepted on a Saturday to be processed on Tuesday, either later on Saturday or on Sunday I noticed the trade processing time was moved to Wednesday. I was told that was due to at least one team member vetoing the trade (the trade being incredibly fair to both teams involved and I knew it would pass anyway) so this was annoying.
To make matter worse, one of the players that I was trading for was a Starting Pitcher (SP) who was scheduled to pitch on Tuesday, the SP ended up pitching a great game scoring over 50 fantasy points, points that should have been scored for my team but the trade was pushed till the next day.
In all, I know the processing trade time is there to help protect fantasy users from collusion in regards to teams making unfair trades, however, if even a single team can veto a trade, pushing the trade back a day, that could be an unfair advantage the other way, especially in cases where the veto is unfounded and the trade is going to be processed. It's possible the team I am playing this week vetoed the trade, knowing the pitcher I was acquiring was starting on the day the trade was supposed to be processed, however, they vetoed the trade, pushing the processing date by one day, meaning their team didn't have to face that SP for their start, essentially a 50+ point swing in our matchup.
The answer to this: Don't oversee trades or don't push the processing date one day in trades that only receive one veto from a league member, this unjustly pushes the processing time and can be used unfairly against teams making the trade. Again, my team lost out on a great game by a pitcher who scored 50+ points which can vary well swing my matchup this week and I may end up losing due to it. Thank you for your time.
