Yes, here's how you can improve further.....Bring BACK the COMMENTS !
Apart from reinstating the COMMENTS facility, also do justice to FREE SPEECH by letting commentators, voice their views / opinions in whatsoever choice of words or language, and more importantly irrespective of Race, Religion, Caste, Color or Creed.
That's all, we the people ask for. Our fundamental constitutional right to express our voice.
Is this too much to ask for ?429th ranked -

I wish to complain strongly about the obvious bias of Yahoo's news articles.
I studied Journalism at university and I have to say the standard of journalistic standards adhered to by Yahoo is substandard, and actively harmful to the well-being of society. Too often, one-sided opinion pieces are promoted, with no option for user comments. User comments (uncensored) are the true voice of the public, and a vital counterpoint to any biased article, offering readers the opportunity to see both sides of an issue and make their own mind up. lack of control of media sites
You say we can see less of certain media sites in news but the same articles come back why is that what is the point? I should have control over what news or fake news stories in my timeline. as you put 'show less publishers' means absolutley nothing as the articles I didn't want came back the next day from the same outlets some of them violent and offensive. SO I signed in and blocked them again for what exactly. Cosmo,People,Marie Claire and your news at yahoo have been sending me nothing but offensive and violent articles I wish not…

Time now to reinstate Yahoo comments
Yahoo removed the comments section during the tumultuous time of BLM and Trump campaign. Both of which they conveniently wanted to distance themselves to absolve blame for fuelling the fires. Now that both are long gone, can Yahoo turn life back to normal and business as usual by bringing back the comments ?

Does the 'show less from' button work?
I've used the show less option repeatedly for a news source and its content is still shown 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 6th, 8th, and 10th in my list.

"Not Interested" in a particular news source
You gave us the option to be "Not Interested" in a particular news source, which is a great idea to help tailor a user's experience, but then when we click that option you then show us even more stories from that news source! Why not actually show FEWER stories, rather than do the opposite?
