At least once every week i am asked by Yahoo to give a recovery phone number and alternative e mail address in case i get locked out of my account. Problem is i only have a land line, i do not have a cell/mobile phone as i am a geriatric old age pensioner and do not understand how they work plus smart phones are too expensive for me. For some reason Yahoo will not accept my land line number because it is a VOIP and i do not have a clue what that is. Surely i am not the only person in the world who does not have a cell phone. How do i recover my yahoo account if i get locked out?
