I will leave this homepage. I am not happy with the response to the "permanent" decision by Yahoo. This is totally for ad revenue. I am disgusted with Yahoo, and I have been using this homepage for many years. I will now switch to something else. What a disappointment! No notice that on December 10th you will have NO CHOICE about the change.

I've been using Yahoo for a very long time. Yes, I am a senior citizen and no, I am not too keen on things that change drastically. I looked and tried to work through the new format but it is terrible. At my initial sign-in, I'd have EVERYTHING that was important to me right on the screen. I did NOT have to search for my stock prices, I did not have to search for a weather report. I did not have to look for anything UNLESS I wanted to. This new crusade of yours is not working for me. Not a fan of Yahoo. I was a stock holder - lost money on you. Now you're making me lose my patience

Please restore my customized home page.

As many of you have already stated, I hate that it can't be customized. It comes down to two words. AD REVENUE... Look at all the ads on the new homepage as compared to the old one. It's all about the money nowadays, and not the users.

Bring back the ability to customize content (stocks, news, sports, weather) all on one dashboard.

I had been using MyYahoo as a web start page for decades because it was configurable. Yahoo.com is now just a visual mess.
I switched to https://www.protopage.com/
I have been able to get close to what I had with MyYahooStocksTracker Widgets

I have the same issues as everyone has already stated. What new homepage are you all going to? I really liked my bookmarks on the homepage that I use daily, as well as news and things that are important to me.

I am really not sure why I am commenting here...the same leftist community managers who dictate that only leftist can comment on Yahoo news stories are probably running everything else on Yahoo...or at least that is probably who gets hired at Yahoo...anyway...the new format does nothing for anyone...the fact that you made MY Yahoo disappear without saying something like "MY Yahoo will disappear on December 10" would have been helpful, but that does not seem to be the "look you were going for"...I am now looking for alternatives and will be saying good-bye to yahoo after so many years of use...my question: In looking at ALL these comments, was it worth it?

20+ years of multi-day use...a 'short cut' to 'MY' information...now I had to save each catergory into a new Bookmark, just to get the information I NEED! BTW, the new 'opening page' is useless to me!

I will add my two cents here and agree that this idea is horrible. I've had my Yahoo page for years, and while it had its problems, like sometimes putting me in Manassas, Virginia, or Sunnyvale, California, I liked it. I could see the weather in the places where my loved ones lived, my favorite sports teams, and my stocks. It worked, so why take it away from those of us who don't care about the latest gossip or how many angels can dance on the head of a pin?
I know this won't be read by a human being who has anything to do with Yahoo's running, but on the off chance that a person of importance will see this, I have given my opinion as strenuously as I am able. -

OK, be honest. How much will it cost for you to NOT CHANGE. You aren't taking a step back, you have turned around and started running.
Listening to your users. We are here because you were doing something right, so why are you making us look elsewhere?
Even Biden realized he had made a mistake and changed. Surely you are as smart as him????

Unfortunately I don’t think any of the code monkeys or product managers are reading this stuff. The new My Yahoo and the standard Yahoo landing page show nothing that I am interested in.

The new homepage is horrible. Too many ads. Liberals News and entertainment news that I don’t care about. I spend more time searching for things that I had already setup on my homepage. I want the old homepage so I can set things up the way I want them, not the **** you want to shove down my throat.

I've used this service for years and the new version is absolutely horrific. What's worse, there seems to be no way to personalize it.
Ciao, My Yahoo. It's been fun, but this means goodbye.

This is complete BS. I have no way of recovering my bookmarks to at least transfer them to a different site. How can anyone delete this and just say 'tough luck' and no option to recover important personal information contained in bookmarks. What an absolute joke.

Now, Yahoo! sucks.
I am a paid user of Yahoo! Mail.
I have been using My yahoo! for 20+ years.
Why on Earth would you do this?
I will no longer use Yahoo! for anything. -

I along with thousands of people who use the Old Yahoo hate the idea of this new Yahoo. it has many garbage stock listings and things we don't care about. For example, I have multiple portfolios, and they are on separate tabs, so why put them all on the same page and force me to scroll through all of them? That's when we have TABS, !!! Another thing is that the news items are not at all compact... If we want to know more, we can right-click on a news item and go to a SEPARATE TAB!!! That's how most internet pages work. The same comment of Performance and statistics...Extremely unnecessary and all in my face, and ineffective and not compact !!!!
They should all be clickable links; so if a user wants to know more they can go and right click on it and read..
I think some numb nut at the Yahoo web design site decided to do something > A change for the change's sake and sold that idea to other mavericks and now everybody is up in arms.. Fire that guy or make him dig trenches and fill them up again; that will keep him occupied.
This idea of the new web design is like changing traffic light colors >> Now Green means pedestrians are waiting and Yellow is now amber and red, who stops at the red light, so get rid of it... and so on and while we are at it, let us add a few more UNNECESSARY COLORS !!
I know you guyes are not going to agree to keep the old format but here is a constructive suggestion....Why not offer users two versions: 1. the old one as is and the new one for new geeks? But please please don't make this current version go away.
I am sure your money-minded bosses will say we can't afford to continue two versions.
COME, ON ! That is a lot of BS. In the world of AI you can continue to populate the old versions as well as the new whatever version you have. Isn't the basic information the same so I am sure some of your Web experts can keep populating the old version from all that information AND support the new version? SO maybe you can dream of a new LLM for Yahoo !! and both versions can milk the data from it and populate them, both, AUTOMATICALLY !!Please Please give us the option. USE LLM for Yahoo !!
if you want to charge us a small monthly fee for using the old versions, as long as you promise to keep your dirty hands off our basic version!!! :-) or else we are all going to leave ☹
Signed Dr. Bhal Tulpule a regular user, with good ideas and who is ready to leave… -

I have been using my.yahoo.com for more than 15 years every day. I set it up with stocks, weather, news and I was checking it several times a day. I wasn't using the email anymore, and I have no use for Yahoo if this isn't there. Please bring it back!
