The new My Yahoo page does not make since. The purpose of upgrades is to improve something and not make it worthless.

When I go to Yahoo.com without signing in I get a mess of articles that I am not interested in. If I sign in to My Yahoo page using account credentials I get same list of content from providers I have no interest in. The original My Yahoo page allowed for the customization to weed out content/articles I have not interest in or trust.

The original customized My Yahoo page allowed by to see only content from select news sources such as Sky News, local news in my area, TMZ, select comic strips, select sports and scores at a glance. These could also be grouped/arranged in sections.

The new format provides undesired content such as Health, Business, Science, etc from wide range of providers and is not arranged by type of content and is intermixed with Ads.

The myyahoo.com has same functionality as the generic non account login yahoo.com page. In fact, myyahoo.com just reroutes you to yahoo.com page. So why should I even have a Yahoo account.

If the functionality of original My Yahoo is not restored I will being closing my yahoo account and start using my Google.acccount for New. Google New at news.google.com via the Following tab allows for selection of desired topics, new sources
