Show exact number of emails in Inbox
I hate that no even the Inbox folder is showing 999+ instead of the exact number if you have more than 1000 emails. Please reinstate the exact count!

I like to know exactly how many emails I have. Putting 999+ is a terrible idea. It feels good to see your number go down as you read them. If you have to use the space for 999+ anyway. Use the space for accurate information. I switched back from the new format because of this. BAD IDEA!

I have this same issue in the new mail. My inbox has over 1,700 unread emails, but it only shows "999+" next to it. I would like to see exactly how many are unread if that number is over 999.

Agreed! I keep track of new messages by seeing how the numbers of unread messages change. I regularly have 2000+ e-mails to read I need to see the exact number to know if I have new ones of consequence. This really lessens the functionality of the system

It keeps skipping e-mails that I haven't had a chance to read. Please see if you can correct this issue. Thanks.

For people like me who tend to gather many emails in our inbox. Not showing exactly how many there are is a big disincentive to cleaning it out. It would be beneficial to both you and us to return the exact count. What kind of benefit did your UI designers think there would be in taking information away from users?

Actually SHOW how many emails are in inbox.
Make it SIMPLE to change your email format back to old way if you don't like it.
Keep it simple, not complicated.
