Adjustable margins
There's so much dead space around the edges. Because I can't adjust the margins, and, it makes it very difficult to read on different computers and different size screens. I don't want to have to scroll back and forth across the screen time I want to see a whole email at once. And the left nav bar is so thin, I can't see the full names of folders. PLEASE let us adjust so we can view mail in a sensible way.

The email screen width limitation was the most important reason I refused to use the "*NEW" email format. I have a 37 inch monitor and it's a joke looking at the inbox this way. 45% of the screen width is NOT USED.
With the CLASSIC email I could use the entire width of my screen to preview emails, but looks like with the NEW email, everybody is forced to have a 1920x1080 monitor.
If anyone is really listening to the users needs, please implement a feature to remove the width limitation for users with big screens.
I happen to be a developer and I know that this is an extremely easy feature to implement.

can't make margins in folders wider in order to see number of emails not read

The email reading screen has become too small in breadth, so that we have to scroll left- right to be able to read the complete sentences.
Side screens with adds are covering up most of the screen breadth.
Also, there are no settings provided to change the screen size. -

can't use a desktop of laptop to read my email because it doesn't fit and can't adjust the lefthand columns. cant scroll every line Need to be able to narrow those columns to make room for the message.

I've got a my screen set to max resolution but the folder names are truncated. Minimizing the Advertisements Bar does not provide space to read folder names. The nearly half inch of blank margin to the left of the folder names, and nearly 3/4 inch to the right of the "..." could be shrunk quite a bit to provide more folder legibility!
[I realize that a mouse hover will reveal names but I should be able to see them first.] -

This new version doesn't let the user maximize screen width. There are very wide, blank columns to the left (of folders) and to right (of settings) that are pretty useless. Classic Mail lets you use the whole width of the screen and drag column widths. Please bring that back.
I know everyone hates changing, the current "classic" was once "new" and everyone hated it, but you improved it and now they're fighting to keep it! So I'm keeping an open mind.
