filter
You need to be able to "add selected email" to an existing filter. If you want people to use Yahoo. It gets too filled up with junk/spam/political stuff otherwise. Plus the "settings button" is very hard to find on normal view, and the filter tab works poorly (pull down menu disappears beyond bottom of page)

When creating a filter, we need an option to apply this filter to existing email (gmail does this). Currently, I run a query in inbox, create a filter using the criteria in settings, then go back to inbox to handle the email that met the criteria
Also, when querying email, we need an option to create a filter using this query (gmail does this)

Sent mail that is moved continues to show as Sent mail. Classic removed the message. Very confusing if there are a number of messages. Have to hit Refresh after every move to Remove the listing

I have many filters such that it's difficult to locate a filter in the long filter list. A search function would be helpful to quickly and easily locate a filter, rather than scrolling.

There MUST be a way to create a filter off the email...those three dots on the right of the spam link should give you the "create a filter off this email" option...Nope, going back to classic view until FIXED

Although my filters still seem to be in place, several items that normally go to their correct folders are now coming to the Inbox. If I wanted them there I wouldn't have created folders and filters!!! Swapping back to previous version.

Filter emails like this must come back!!! I'm currently drowning in emails that I have to manually move - I never liked gmail, but at least they still have this feature easily accessible! Yahoo is already losing out to Gmail...get with the program!

FILTERS - The new way to create a filter is inefficient and cumbersome. The old method was easy to use. Please put it back.

The current filtering is dreadful. The link that Yahoo keep on posting up as their 'solution' is totally ineffective and doesn't even answer the question. I need a filtering solution that I can use FROM the email, not by rummaging around in settings and then having to paste in the email address. This is so simple -sort it out Yahoo!

I despise the new way to create filters. I mainly kept using Yahoo all these years because of the ability to create filters directly from an e-mail, now the process is PAINFUL. I get a lot of mass mailings that aren't junk but that I don't want to look at in my main inbox.

There was an additional option to create a filter while reading an email : "filter emails like this", which was very practical! This one is too complicated and time consuming...

I agree totally about the Filter option. It was MUCH easier to use on Classic Mail. However I feel forced to transfer to New Yahoo Mail because Attachment Downloads on Safari now seem problematic on the Classic Mail (sometimes they work, often they don't).

New way to filter spam is difficult and time consuming. Bring back the old way or do a more effective job of filtering spam yourselves. I have pretty much stopped using yahoo for personal emails because of your ineffectiveness in ridding spam. It is primarily used for newsletters and order confirmations. I am about to stop that and dump my account if I don't see some improvements.
