Bring back the ability to view raw messages before e-mail is opened.
In the old version there was an option to view the raw message before opening the e-mail. In the new mail this option only appears once the e-mail has been opened. As other posts have said it is important to be able to see what might be lurking inside a dodgy e-mail before it is opened. Please bring this option back.

I too want to trace who emailed me.

I wholehearted agree. I just had a update forced and lost "snippets." Having to fully open an e-mail without knowing what lurks inside is very dangerous. Snippets also saves time when doing a quick review.

Just noticed the raw message option is now under the more button (the ellipses ...) next to the spam/not spam button

If I receive an e-mail I'm not sure of, I like to view the raw message to check the contents and origin.
If you are not going to reinstate this function can we at least have the option to stop read receipts etc. being sent automatically or at all?

As I see this idea was already closed more than 3 times. Is it that bad? Why can't it be implemented taking into account it already was? Please allow users to have ability to preview raw message without opening email OR at least hide button to switch to new interface in the old interface.

I completely agree with Matthew. Seeing the raw contents is the only way to be check a suspicious email without any danger.

Opening suspicious emails just lets the spammers know they have a good email address. I am very surprised you suggested this as a solution. Please make the view raw headers/full email an option again.
