disposable email addresses
When replying to an email addressed to a disposable email address, the disposable address used to auto populate. Now the base address - that I do not want to use for anything - shows up. Wrong!

I agree that Yahoo not populating the From address with the To address on the email we're replying to is just poor UX and it caused me to reveal my true address when I replied too quickly without noticing this and changing the From address back. At least before, when the address didn't transfer on reply, I could search my disposable address list by starting to type the sending name but that feature is gone now (which is the main reason I refused to switch to the new email until they forced it on me).

I can't find the setting for adding an extra email address.

Security is not a strong point of Yahoo, millions of leaked Yahoo passwords agree too.
But this basic feature not working properly is just bad engineering. -

This needs to be ranked higher, this is inappropriate behaviour and should be an easy implementation. Give it to a junior developer because some senior one failed on the implementation. If this is intended behaviour then you need to HIGHLIGHT it as expected behaviour up front in the creation process. Be transparent or fix it!! Your product manager should be ashamed and set to an immediate need!

I noticed this also. This is not just a matter of missing features from the Classic UI, this is a security issue - the new UI is leaking my main address (unless I remember to change it for every single reply message I send), which defeats the whole purpose of having disposable addresses. Since the extra protection afforded by disposable addresses is the main reason I use Yahoo Mail, I've gone back to the Classic UI and will not be switching to the new UI until this is fixed.

Still having the problem. Also, filters not working at all. Also, when go to manually add a contact, am taken back to the old Yahoo. AND THERE I AM STAYING UNTIL A LOT OF PROBLEMS ARE CORRECTED!
