I agree with the other posters. The current layout is not good. It is too easy to miss clicking on the select button and my click will default to reading the current message. Like most I get numerous ad emails daily I'm not interested in reading. At minimum, make the selection larger. A tiny miss of the button results in losing all of my selections.

I concur. Please give me the old inbox back. Now you only let me see the most recent reply to a message and you remove the pictures. I hate it.

In the old format, we had contacts and calendar on the left, as well as delete an email and search, on the email line, ON THE NEAR LEFT.
Now, the DELETE BUTTON IS MOVED TO THE FAR RIGHT - NOT CONVENIENT, unless we, first, click the check box, then go up to the delete option, then click on it.
The layout in the old format WAS EXCELLENT FOR SEARCHING, DELETING.PLUS - the new format STILL did NOT bring back folder sizes like we used to have years ago (NOW, THAT WAS A GREAT FEATURE - to see how large our folders were so WE KNEW where we had to delete content from).

Not all change is worthy to continue to exist. You forced us to choose this new style and I for one find it ugly, not user friendly, etc.

Why change what wasn't broken in the first place. The physical appearance is not appealing, I had to search for the forward option, it's much slower, and I generally hate it. Go back to the Classic format and fire the genius who changed it. It was probably a committee decision; that's where all the justify our job ideas come from. Not Smart.

I do not like your "conversation" format, in which e.mails are treated like an unbroken chain and everything becomes confusing.

Looks like it's time to leave yahoo. They keep making changes and their excuse is 'we have to retire old programs'. Why? No explanation. I can see inserting ads if that's what they must do to pay for things. But I don't understand why they change the formatting of a conversation thread. It is no longer newest on top. It's all out of order and hard to find the new reply when you open it. That's just non-functional. I haven't even checked out the issues with folders that this new format has created but I see people's comments and it doesn't look good. It's pretty clear they think they can just have people expend their energy on a comments thread without actually listening to feedback. Well their advertisers won't like it if people never open their yahoo emails again so never see the ads. I think it's time to change.

cannot delete ads, does not allow me to widen my columns, go back to the old format or I'll just use only Gmail.

Here is why I HATE the new format: I can no longer create a new folder from the dropdown menu in the email itself. Instead, I have to now navigate to the left side of the page and create a new folder there. Why on earth would you make it harder not easier to do this: Also the design and color choices for layout are just horrible. I am very close to ditching this as my main email.

I don't like the new format. I can't see all the folders I had before and can't see how to search/find them. I need to either go back to the classic mail or go elsewhere.

The new format is harder to read. I have vision problems and trying to read the New Mail makes my eyes hurt after a very short while. The old version was much easier to read, easier to use, and many times more efficient. I can't think why someone would consider this an improvement.
