    This new version is absolute garbage. This is for toddlers. We use this mail in a fast paced environment, and the previous version was much faster and streamlined versus this trash. Please fix this, or we will be moving our entire business to GMAIL.

    I want back the previous Classic email. This new is HORIBLE!

    As requested by Yahoo I use both Firefox and Chrome. Been running the Yahoo Classic email when it came out with little or no problems. Nightly the history, cookies, cache, ETC. for both browsers. Thought I was having problems with my internet so two weeks ago had my provider check everything out. This included the internet box and wires inside plus outside the home. The download and upload speeds exceeded what I am paying for. After having this work done I still ran Yahoo Classic email for a week.
    I finely got the nerve to go to the new Yahoo email. To tell the truth I made a big mistake by doing so. Should have read the other post more carefully. The print is smaller and lighter than in Classic and because of this it hurts the eyes. The whitish background is also too bright that also ******* the eyes. This new Yahoo email is running slower maybe because of the added Views that I find useless. If I open up an email with a picture 4 times it will add it to the Views Photos 4 times. What a waste of memory and space. At times when sending emails or opening an email I’ll get “No internet service” or Check your internet connection”. This will happen on both Firefox and Chrome. My wireless house phone would tell me first about no service before the internet would. This has never ever of happened in Yahoo Classic for as long as I have had it. I had pride in using your email service but like others if nothing is going to be done I too will not be looking at the ads and as I did cause I’ll also be leaving Yahoo mail unless I/we can keep classic.

    I have not been able to sign in to my yahoo email a/c 'barbara.gazzaniga@yahoo.co.uk' without having to use my mobile phone, tapiing your icon does not work on my lap top. Give me back your basic sign in please

    Thank You! I now have lost all my emails because you cann't leave things alone. We should be asked before you just make changes. Return me to my old Yahoo account.

    Too easy to accidentally permanently delete e-mails.

    Twice today, I accidentally permanently deleted important e-mail conversations by hitting the delete button on my keyboard to erase a word in a message I was composing. Somehow, instead of the cursor moving back and removing letters as I hit delete, Yahoo mail quickly opened a window saying 'conversation deleted' and then permanently deleted the whole conversation. This happened in rapid succession as I was hitting the delete button several times to delete letters in my message but was actually deleting messages!!

    Yahoo should change this function so that if someone accidentally hits the delete button and deletes a message, they should have to hit ONLY the return button or even 'shift-return' in order to permanently delete a message. This would help prevent more messages being permanently being deleted by someone who was just trying to delete a word!!!

    slow process and stuck at times, opening and composing a mail taking time, I am using Tabs, so while checking from one tab to another tab it's taking too much of time and that's really irritating

    I cannot switch between my email accounts in chrome but it works FINE in Edge. I don't use edge or IE so it doesn't work for me!

    New mailbox design has bugs. If I type an email address inside the body, I only get so far without getting kicked over into a "Problem" screen.

    Also, if I type in an email address, then tab or space after it to identify the name of the person, I get kicked over into the same "Problem" screen.

    In composing an email with bcc, the new format does not insert the contacts.

    Talking to someone now costs money.

    I agree! I hate the new format... an no, It won't just take some getting used too. It is horrible, confusing, hard to read no matter what setting I use. I tried them all. The layout is unprofessional, the font is awful, I do not like it!

    I miss the old format. It was so clean and easy to maneuver. The purple/blue bar at the top confuses me with my hotmail address. The icons that accompany incoming emails are an eyesore.
    Is there any way that I can customize my email format?
