    did not think it was possible for YAHOO! mail to be even more slow and sluggish...well, congratulations! your 'new' mail is definitely WORSE.....

    Why the change? A classic case (like New Coke did) of how to annoy your customer.

    Stupid "features" on the new format -- e.g. what use is showing a colored initial icon next to each contact? The enlarged icon encroaches on the mail space. Who's idea was that? It's ugly, works to destroy simplicity, and is annoying to have to click to remove EVERY time.

    I hate so much about the New Mail format and I wish I could have the old mail back. I hate these weird color themes, I hate that the "Views" folder cannot be permanently hidden, I hate the overdone mandatory bolding of the unread mail. There is just SO MUCH TO HATE about the New Mail.

    Pat yourselves on your back folks for pretty much making YAHOO Mail UNUSABLE with the recent update!!!!! Navigation is lame, colors SUCK big-time! Tell me again, what was wrong with the old YAHOO MAIL format to precipitate this disaster?

    With the upgraded yahoo mail the inbox font is unclear/fuzzy. Emails, when opened, are fine.

    Why did you remove the attach from cloud option? I use that a great deal. Can't find how to do it on the new format. And anyway, what was wrong with the 'old' format?

    your new format sucks!!....stop shoving what you like down our throats..If I want change I will ask for it rather than have someone decide for me...goodbye I'm switching to gmail.

    Dont like the change at all. The classic is fine dont fix if it aint broke.. add features to the excisting mail let us choose for ourselves instead of taking away what we love

    I want to get back to the classic it was much easy to use & I could tell how many e-mail I had I what I wanted to cancel

    You need to go back to the drawing board with this new one. I still have the classic version.Thank you! Maybe you're finally listening to reason. Keep classic mail indefinitely please.

    I get it...you want to look and feel like Gmail and Outlook because Yahoo is a dinosaur. But Yahoo Mail was the one thing you were doing right until you decided to fix it. It's a CPU hog; it's slow; it has more defects than I can possibly list in one posting (but I'll leave a few); it has half the benefits of the old mail and NO improvements.

    1) Why doesn't the Spam folder display the unopened message count? Every other folder seems to. I'm much more likely to lose something valuable that your filters wrongly put there...and, while I'm on the subject, non-spam mail that used to be fine is now getting inappropriately flagged as spam.

    2) Why can I no longer refine my searches? (And don't get me started on how many ways the search feature is messed up.)

    3) Changing the key combination for marking mail read from 'K' to 'Shift-K' and vice-versa was just stupid and unnecessary.

    4) It takes forever to get to the bottom of my Inbox (yes, I have over 1000 emails in there but so what?). Having gotten there, if I read an email and delete it I'm taken back to the top of my list and have to start all over.

    These are just a few of the things that turned up in the first few minutes of using this abomination. Judging from the 16020 comments before me, I can see that I'm not the only dissatisfied customer on the block. I can also see that you have no intention or interest in fixing your problems since they've been around for over a year but I had to vent for my own mental health.

    Enjoy your own special corner of **** when your time comes...you've earned it!

    I tried the new version 3 times and all 3 times I switched back within minutes! Like so many others, I hate this and want the old version back. I really wish programmers would STOP making everything work on smart phones first, then maybe on regular computers. Not everyone wants to combine functions, you know.

    seriously yahoo, nothing was wrong with the old one, and DO NOT TELL ME IT'S BECAUSE YOU'RE RETIRING SUPPORT FOR IT, YOU USE AUTOMATED BOTS FOR EVERYTHING ANYWAYS, YOU COULDN'T GIVE SUPPORT IF YOU TRIED!

    no wonder why Gmail is dominating

    For some reason most if not all of my emails go to my Trash! There is no Trash folder in the new format so that says it all. Maybe Yahoo can fix things so that my emails go to my Inbox. That would be nice. Thanking you in anticipation. Regards ... NickT
