I don't want the new version. I WANT TO CONTINUE WITH CLASSIC. The big problem is that the colours I like are not available in the new version - and of course the fact that I shall have to learn all the commands over again.
I SHALL BE PULLING OUT OF YAHOO SOON. I shall wait until Classic is officially discontinued and then seek a new provider. I shall also suggest a boycott of Yahoo in Brazil where I live.
I don't mind there being a new version, as you mentioned it is to 'improve and upgrade' the products, but THE USERS should be able to decide whether they want the new version - and not some besuited fat-cats in Yahoo's office.
I shall seek a new provider and then establish a time frame to quit Yahoo (just like you have done), so I don't lose clients, etc. Of course, if you keep Classic as an option, I shall continue with Yahoo as I have done for some 20 years.

I get that you want to "improve" things by tweaking them, but why cant you please give those of us who don't want to change the option to stick with the "classic" version? Your "improvements" may not be better for all your users. Google keeps pulling this same **** with their calendar and I for one am shopping for an alternative. Quit forcing us to accept and live with your "improvements".

Why are you doing away with Yahoo Classic as of 1/31/19? Your upgraded version isn't as user friendly as the Classic version always
had been. Can't you keep both so users can have a choice? The
Yahoo Classic was much more convenient for me. -

Hate this version. Very hard to see contrast between typed content and background, type is too washed out and faint. And the color block at top is dreadful. Please return the contact buttons, etc. to the left side of page.

I don't understand the need for Yahoo to change the "look" of the email page every couple of years. It's the same as moving the furniture and calling it "progress."
This new look is as clunky as Gmail used to be.... Ugly. -

I do not have enough words in my vocabulary to truly express my abhorrence of this new Yahoo mail - it looks TERRIBLE, it is counter-intuitive and a waste of space and time - PLEASE give us back our CLASSIC! "Retire support for older versions" my ****.

The dark band at the top is ugly and distracting. Too much contrast and awful color choices.
Please move all the buttons back over to the left, where they take less hand movement (ergonomics!) to access from the email check boxes.
Listen to what others have stated. Classic was superior! -

You people ever hear of "if it works, don't fix it"? At least this one is better than the last, but still not great. How about telling us how many e-mails are in trash and spam? Get rid of the big colour thing at the top - not necessary, and a distraction.

While in DRAFT I sent a draft. How long should I wait until the email is sent? In Classic after a Draft was sent it would be removed and sent. After an hour the Draft is still there and has not been sent and it’s also not in my Sent folder. Did a F5 and that email is still in my DRAFT folder and still not in my SENT folder and I did use the SEND button. I sent that same email again in the DRAFT folder. This time I BCC: myself and a name in To:. Well it left the DRAFT folder after sending the email. An hour later I did not get the email I sent from DRAFT and also it is not in the SEND folder. Yahoo rolling out a product again that has not been tested. The more I use this new so called email the more bugs and things that don't work. Let people still keep Classic if they it. -

Stop changing the appearances of the service.
Newest change is the worst.
Horrible washed out nasty colours.
Makes it hard to see the letters and words and read my mail.

I hate the new format. That's why I have been resistant to the change. Tried it a couple other times and always switched back. Too gaudy and incredibly slow.

The frame on the right with contacts and calendar should be moveable. It also doesnot stay minimized.

IT SUCKS! YOU ACT LIKE THE MAJORITY WANTED THE NEW EMAIL BUT FROM ALL THE COMPLAINTS I'VE SEEN I SERIOUSLY DOUBT THAT. WE SHOULD NOT BE FORCED TO USE IT - NOTHING BUT TROUBLE AND THE BUGS WERE NEVER OUT OF THE OLD ONE!
