do you ever consider your users when you make changes? or do you just change without trying it out and getting feedback? every new update is NOT an improvement, and usually just makes it worse

New backgrounds are awful and cartoony. what was wrong with the photo backgrounds- I actually wanted more of those. Also hate 'conversations" . I also NEED the contacts list available to access- not in some other tab someplace!!

Nothing wrong with the classic. Fire the people who make us make these changes that are not asked for and unwanted. Maybe you can have less ads then and I'll stop using 3rd party email programs. Sheesh.

Mail Team, you are not understanding the filtering issue at all. Instead of creating filter on 1 screen with all the info needed is visible, we now have to click & click to get to the filter ability with no info visible on that screen. If you would just try it, you would understand.

Just STOP. Example.. I signed up for USPS notifications purposely to keep track of Ebay transactions. One day it'sd in my inbox as it should be and the next day I have to go searching for it in the junk folder. And stop the **** popups. I have an adblock program for a reason. And I don't care if you think I may have overpaid for something. JUST STOP !!!!

Email is like a tool. It is not more than that. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Don't frustrate your users, which I think, will be dwindling.

I have worked around the various and many Yahoo changes over the years being with yahoo for a long time. after AOL (Almost On Line). I have tried your various updates and fancy stuff and lived with my frustrations. I do not tolerate change well, especially when it is non-sensical.
If the answer you give is "All-ya-gotta-do-is" that is male bovine dung! Now, you want me to pay for your changes and still have rolling changes, after change and still have adds taking up half the page? Keep it Stupid Simpleton
An example is stark. I want to talk with someone, select the "Help" Icon and is goes completely circular wanting to charge me $3.49 per month and some such tommyrot.
So I get to pay for circular-*****-up. I stumbled onto this Yahoo@communications.yahoo.com address which I do not think will work like most of the other things I have tried. I still use a flip phone and it works quite well. -

Why do you have to renovate and remake a smooth-running wheel? The version you're trashing was far better than this! Seems like your ill-prepared for the transition... too many missing tools and such. Like my not being able to "drag 'n' drop" when I'm writing email! That is a real pain! And what happened to the database list?

Maybe give us the option of an all-blue format (like the classic mail format).
Not everyone can tolerate the change of color spectrums/ shifts, I suppose.
This format is giving me an immense headache, so I will likely switch back to classic mail until the end of the month.
Not everything that is "new and updated" is best fir everyone. -

I do not like the new format. The Classic view is so much better to read and navigate.

After January 31 the old theme of the water/raindrops will no longer be available ( and a few other beautiful themes also) Why? Now we only have a choice of about 6 colors and 4 stupid cartoon-like themes. Who are the geniuses that you pay to take good things and make them worse? Have you idiots ever heard the saying "If it ain't broke don't fix it"? Leave stuff alone. It was fine the way it was. There was NO problem. I LIKE the water theme. Why don't you leave it the **** alone. You are ***-hats, do you know that? Well now you do.

The new Yahoo Mail that is being forced on us is a disaster. Too much space is taken up with ads, too many ads are popping up, and too much space is wasted in the inbox listings, so I can't see more of what's in my inbox. I don't know who provided usage feedback, but clearly they weren't people who use mail on a daily basis.

How about working out the kinks before rolling it out worldwide? Why could you not consolidate the calendar and contacts into your new design BEFORE rolling out the new mailbox instead of getting people upset and having to read thousands of angry messages? Where is your common sense and logic? What's the rush with the new design? It's not that much different from the previous one.
