How can we improve New Mail?

    I just got a message that Classic mail will be discontinued 1-31-19. I tried new mail last year, but switched back to Classic when I found that I could not add or edit a contact from within an email. The old "hover, click the 3 dots, and edit" function was gone, replaced with "hover and get message about auto-generated vCard". This is a major inconvenience. New contacts have to be manually added, rather than from within an email.

    Either fix this or leave Classic available.

    Just had to change to the new style Yahoo. Don't like it - there was nothing wrong with the Classic View. The new thing seems to have been invented with bright sickly colours to entertain the youth who have an attention span of 1 second.

    I prefer the classic mail I absolutely, positively do not like this new format! Return to me to my old format!!!!!

    Hate new mail, mainly because I miss the old background I had (the raindrops). All new background colors are too brassy.

    Just because you've made a new version doesn't mean it has to look different than the old... I don't understand why more companies can't figure this out!

    You are making your mail format less useful by squeezing out the area to view the content of an email, Your upgrade is a downgrade as evidenced by all the negative feed back. All we can do know it go back to a more user friendly format like outlook Hotmail.

    The new format we are being forced to use is HORRIBLE. The layout is obnoxious, the settings don't stay as I set them, all the colors are too bright and childlike. I just want to read my email. Please tone it down, or let us go back to something TRULY basic without ads and popups and colors and unnecessary ********.

    The new Themes are either to dark or to bright.
    Classic view was perfect.

    Terrible for Hebrew users.
    The classic had issues, but I could align it to the right.
    The new one is impossible, I get my ,.: at the wrong directions and I just can't write properly.

    I guess it is time to surrender to Gmail, unless classic will stay.

    Make "new" look like "old." Or at least in settings give an option in Themes to make it look like the old.

    New mail is awful!

    Tried this when it came out a while ago and reverted back to the classic. Tried it again due to the ultimatum and still hate it! And I pay for this ****.
    -Colours are terrible - Why can't you just add the classic colours?
    -Format is hard to read, with less formatting options - Why can't you just keep the classic format?
    -Search is now more limited
    -Right click options have disappeared

    I will soon stop using Yahoo as my primary email, after about 2 decades of use. Every time you create a new email look - functionality, I have liked Yahoo email less and less. I especially dislike the new themes and background, you should have the option of using any photo we want for our background/theme as gmail has. Also, you have far worse privacy protection than gmail (how many MILLIONS of peoples' data have you had hacked?!), your spam filter lets way too much through. In short, I will be switching to using gmail as my primary email service sometime after you end our ability to use Classic Yahoo mail.

    I understand that Yahoo mail was sold a while back and ever since then I have had problems. I would try to send an email only to lose it because they were having technical problems and their technicians were working to solve the problem. Now this!! Forced into a new format I don't want, didn't ask for, and had no warning about. As others have said "If it ain't broke, don't fix it". For my personal email I am going back to Hushmail. They at least respect their patrons!

    Give us a place to actually complain about the new email service! This is a suggestions and new idea forum which does not address the problem. Being forced to change to a new system that is totally horrible is very bad customer service. Do you not see how many people have switched to gmail? You are becoming obsolete. I have had your service since you started way back in the day. Well I stayed despite the constant email hackings and your poor customer service but I won't be anymore. You had a good thing quit trying to copy other services and get those young workers of yours to come up with something that actually works and the people want to use not this ****.
