Please eliminate this "New" mail altogether. The ONLY difference I can see is that this new version tries to force people to whitelist Yahoo! on their AdBlocker. No new features whatsoever.
Like I just posted in another thread, Yahoo! does a horrible job of monitoring what ads are being shown and many contain code to re-direct browsers to unsafe websites, mainly those trying to trick people into downloading a fake "Firefox Update," which is actually a virus.

I am another user who totally agrees with this post and with another 13803 comments already it is about time that Yahoo took notice and started to control their advertising methods.
I would never consider setting my ADblocker to whitelist Yahoo and in the long run it would be easier for everybody to just move on to another email provider.

Nothing is worse than getting comfortable with a program, and then for no reason they make changes that no one ever asked for. Yahoo mail has pretty much always sucked, and you just keep trying to make it worse (I guess)

Yahoo! NEEDS to take steps to prevent this sort of Malvertising before they expect people to be subjected to their ads. I'm all for companies using advertising as a means to garner revenue and therefore keep/make their services free, but they have a responsibility to the user when doing so. Most websites do a reasonable job of this. Sadly, Yahoo! does not.
Yahoo! was one of the primary reasons I chose to install an AdBlocker in the first place. I was constantly being redirected from my Yahoo! home page. This is unacceptable.
With advances in Malvertising, some ads no longer even require the user to click on anything for their PC to become infected with viruses and/or other types of malware.
Once again, please get rid of this "New" Yahoo! mail until such a time as there are ACTUAL upgrades. Trying to force people to subject themselves to unsafe advertising is NOT an upgrade.
Thank you.
