Please be sure you click on the settings wheel in Mail, not in Help. We have found that some users are trying to make the change to switchback to classic Mail in help.yahoo.com rather than in Mail.yahoo.com. You will not find the option to switchback in Help. You will find it in Mail.

    Note: you must again return to the "new" yahoo mail. Then go to the upper right and click on the wheel. Then the window will open up, and you should see "switch back to classic." But you must after clicking on it, do 2 more things: 1. Click on the question, why are you leaving, and 2. Put something into the box. They want you to write. If not, no switch back. GLA

    I'm not sure why or how I got to this site, but all I know is I was trying to connect my printer to my lap top and now I am getting notices to whitelist my mail. Soon I will clear out all my mail and start over. I'm not a happy camper. And if this new mail is creating the problems give me back my old mail.

    I con't find my original setting and your "instructions" don't work..there is NO option at the "gear" icon.

    Half my contacts are gone and the new mail format is awful. The instructions for going back to the old format do not work, as so many others have noted.

    As others have said previously, the instructions for switching back to the old format DO NOT WORK. Please fix this immediately and give me back my old format. So many people have said they are unhappy with this new format, you must realise it is not working.

    now i cant receive. email on my android i have changed security settings but it does not work! Why you gotta **** **** up. Seriously considering completely switching to gmail. I WANT MY OLD EMAIL BACK OR IM OUTTA HERE JERKS
