Every time I switch between work and home computers, I get a time zone alert. Both computers are on the same time zone. Very annoying.

even when I am on the same computer I get the timezone message at irregular intervals if I am on the computer too long!

I get the same thing. Has Yahoo provided feedback on how to lock it or switch it off?

I am using the same computer and it gives me this notice even when connecting or disconnecting from VPN. I can't even understand why you need users to click this.

Glad to see I'm not the only one. Is Yahoo TRYING to get rid of its users??? 'cause I'm a couple more timezone notifications away from forwarding all my mail to another address and just leave Yahoo behind.

I'll bet the problem is that yAHOO detects my time zone as that of m ISP, which is in another time zone. I'll live with the time zone alert because "correcting it" means giving yAHOO personal information.

My situation is more extreme. Every time I open the same computer in the same physical location, I get a time zone alert.

I agree with the comments. Get rid of this! I switch between a work PC and home PC. I get this message every time access mail from a different PC. I've made sure both PCs have the same time zone yet I still get the message. Please get rid of this or tell us how to fix it!

I dont need this *****y timezone alert. I set my time myself thank you very much. I travel through so many timezones and if there is a reason for me to keep another time that you think isn't my current timezone, that's none of your *****m business. stop reminding me. just take the thing away. remind me once and let me send it away. really really poor design if you don't know how much this stupid timezone alert refusing to go away, is annoying to your users. Did you put the new graduate on this one?

I tried what I believed was the official MS method to clear this & it failed. My computer at home never moves so the time zone never changes. My work PC moves between floors and possibly across the street but never changes time zones. Still, I'm prompted once a day by this extremely irritating pop-up.
