Every time I switch between work and home computers, I get a time zone alert. Both computers are on the same time zone. Very annoying.

Groundhog day: I also get the time zone message everytime I access my account.
1) Both computers I use are in the same time zone, only 8km apart and there are no other time zones anywhere near them.
2) I have now updated the timezone after logging in on both computers and I STILL get the message.
3) The correct time zone is registered now, and I STILL get the time zone message.
4) I actually don't care whether the time zone is correct or not, but the message that can't be ignored is EXTREMELY annoying.
Like everyone else here, I am going to propose the obvious solution: don't automatically send the time zone message! -

Agreed - this is amazingly annoying. It seems like I get notified every time I switch between work and home, even though both locations are less than 2 miles apart and in the same timezone. When I check settings, it always says I am in the correct time zone.

I have already tried resetting the timezone to Pacific in Calendar, but when I get back to mail, the timezone bounces back to Singapore. It also shows non-US ads on the side. Shouldn't it synchronize automatically with the system time and location? Yahoo Mail in Chrome on MacOS.

Like Alyda LaValliere, I've updated my location info in my profile (on each of my PCs) and despite my not leaving the city, I'm still regularly prompted to update my time zone when I log into my email.
What the honk?
