Every time I switch between work and home computers, I get a time zone alert. Both computers are on the same time zone. Very annoying.

I got an idea: STOP WASTING MY TIME WITH YOUR ERRONEOUS "NEW TIME ZONE DETECTED!" MESSAGE!

what is this pop up "new time zone detected"???
-
Brenda Reynosa commented
Why does it keep telling me it has detected another time zone? My system is in the correct zone and it doesn't include an option of either 'don't ask again' or 'review time zone'. I don't want to tell it to change it as I don't see that it's wrong.

Get rid of the time zone updater. It's absolutely annoying and always incorrect.

Amen to this! If I need to to update my time zone, I'm not a moron, I'll handle it. Stop checking it.

How about "stop asking me again" option

Yahoo should do a better job of testing functions before annoying us with useless ones! And, they should always have a way of customers getting rid of that rubbish.

Oddly, when I change time zones (which is frequently) I don't get asked, but when I am at home this annoying thing pops up every time I open a browser tab with my main on it: Chrome, Safari, Firefox, IE make no difference.
SO annoying!

The prompt that consistently pops up to tell me to update my timezone, which I have done several times, has become very annoying and interrupts my email reading!

I agree - seems to be a problem when I sign into my work VPN. So annoying. Would like it removed...

Stop suggesting I "update" my time zone. My time zone is exactly as I want it, without the intrusive, invasive suggestion!
