"Unread mail" does not work properly
My "Inbox" in the Folders panel will indicate that I have an unread message but the unread message is not in the main view. The "Unread" folder shows that there are NO unread messages but when I click on "Unread," the unread message appears. If I read my unread message from the "Unread" folder, when I go back to my main view, the email that I just read in the "Unread" folder is gone and never re-appears anywhere. Sometimes the unread message appears for a micro-second when I first open mail but then it disappears -- I have no idea where it went. I've tried refreshing, logging out and logging back in, clearing cookies, clearing history, shutting down, rebooting...problem persists. Switching back to old mail now.
