I accept that we have to put up with ads to pay for for other stuff, but I have an ad-blocker to prevent them becoming too intrusive...having just read complaints that your adds ARE too numerous/intrusive, why then would I put Yahoo on my whitelist?

Pay to read your emails in full width, i don't think so.
I just use an Ad blocker to show my anger at having to pay. -

Please stop this annoying pop up about whitelising yahoo.

Why do you think I put an AdBlocker program on all of my email accounts? I, like most people, don't want the s**t that you continue to force down my throat. It's on the home page (which I stopped using) and all of the articles (which I stopped reading) too.

Yes, we put in an ad-blocker for a reason. Yahoo can go **** themselves.

I WILL NOT disable my adblocker. Yahoo and their ads are ridiculous and if need be I'll just move everything over to my GMail account and rid myself completely of this failing, nagging poor excuse for a mail provider.

If I run an adblocker, it's because I don't like ads. So don't give me popups about stopping my adblocker. Thanks.

Yahoo mail now insists that I do not use an Adblocker. This is ludicrous. Listen to your users, and my fellow nerds who are actually employed to write your code. They know better. Every decision you have made in the last decade has pushed me further and further away from using Yahoo mail, to the point that it's considered by all as a joke. Insecure. Invasive of privacy. Poor spam filters. And now? Enforced ads, and incompatibility with browsers like Brave. Keep up the good work!
PS: Also, this Category thing, for feedback, is kind of stupid. There are no categories for things like "general advice" or "security and privacy concerns," etc. etc. You will only get what categories you chose to measure, which will lead to you missing out on valuable feedback which doesn't fit into any of your predefined categories.
PPS: I don't usually leave such frank feedback. If you'd like me to tell me more about everything you're doing wrong and how you can compete with gmail again, I'm available for hire.
PPPS: I don't expect my feedback to fall on any open ears or reach anyone with the power to improve things, but I hope that I've at least amused whomever's job it is to read this stuff.
PPPPS: I use Arch Linux, by the way.

Yes, my settings ARE interfering with Yahoo features. The features blocked are ****** ads I DO NOT want. I DO that on purpose. Knock off the **** nags.

Yeah... Not whitelisting them and if they're going to keep spamming the notification to do so, then I'm just going to transfer all accounts linked to this one to one of my other Gmail accounts.
To be honest, it was just pure laziness that I hadn't. Their design is much cleaner and whatnot.
So if they keep it up, they'll just finish off what remains of my laziness. The fact that I've bothered to come here to post this is not a good sign for them keeping me so they'd best get on that before they wear away the rest of my good will towards them.

I'm not going to whitelist the URL. Deal with it. Please stop bugging me with notification every time.

Agreed, there is no context or guarantee that the individual emails aren't given a free pass via your privilege. You can't prove it is safe either.
