It seems to me that everything is about what you want - and not your users.
Stop forcing changes upon your users. We know what we want, we don't need to be force fed as if we are idiots. You just don't know when to stop. I seem to have lost some precious emails - thanks a bundle! And before you tell me how in 20 strokes I can find them again ... why did you ever hav to take them away??????
