Yahoo assumes e-mail addresses are the same.
I receive e-mail from someone whose account uses my same first and last name. It is very difficult to search for these e-mails, because Yahoo assumes it's an alternate address for me
Then there are cases where I have both someone's business and personal e-mails. Yahoo lumps these altogether and makes it very difficult to get at the e-mail address that I use less often, even though it is often necessary that I use only one of those e-mail addresses.
This is a case of the system trying to be smart and actually being stupid.
