Deals - "Deals from Email"
'Deals From Email' (located in 'Views', on the left hand navigation bar) feature I do not fine helpful and it appears to have been forcibly added to the inbox, in the preview pane it sits right ontop of the emails consuming the viewing window and it cannot be closed or collapsed. I'm not sure what the value is as its mining all my email which I find annoying. Is this 'feature' part of a Yahoo enhancement or Verizon enhancement to bring more adds to me from the reviewed data in my inbox?
Reviews of the feature are predominately negative, so not sure why we are getting this forced on us without any control.
I would like to turn it off, remove it or at least me control it if Yahoo throws features they think we need or must have.

Ads/coupons/deals on top of email takes too much space! Even on desktop. Can't see the actual email in one view as before. Requires too much scrolling! And the "deals" are worthless info that I would never click on. It takes up half the first view! You waste a lot of people's time& hands this way. You could've at least made those things smaller, too much blank useless Spaces hides the actual email!
The worst of these are on emails from Amazon. Please fix this!!! Don't waste peoples time and space & hands!!!! -

The Deals area at the top of the email message is a waste of space, especially on a phone. It is of absolutely no use. I can read the email from CVS or Walgreens to see what they are offering without being spoon-fed the information. If I want that information it is available in the Deals view selection. Should be a way for it to be turned off in the email message if desired.
This is enough to make me move everything to AIM, Outlook and Gmail.

YES!!! HOW THE HELL DO WE GET RID OF THIS "DEALS" NONSENSE...!!!
Many of us are not stay at home older men/women who specifically MAKE TIME to look at this extra stupid S_ _ _ email DEALS!!!
HOW DO WE GET RID OF STOP SEEING THEM!!!??? Many of us do not have the time NOR the desire to want OR see these DANG DEALS!!!!
WE-DO-NOT-WANT-TO-SEE-DEALS!!!! It is not FOR OUR CONVENIENCE, it is for yahoo's convenience.
WE ARE ALREADY PAYING for the email service - as ANONYMOUS, on Nov. 30, 2018 stated - this has been forced on us!!!
And as Leon Stone commented, Sept 29, 2019 - make it an option "SO WE CAN TURN IT OFF!!!"
This is a prime candidate topic for me to write up on one of my web sites - just search for yahoo & patrick642), with MUCH SAUCIER language than I am permitted here (old Jarhead).
And like MC, on Apr 23, 2019 - I too have had this account for over 20+ years and this DEAL VIEW crap just finally got to me (especially while I'm using a tablet or phone)...
These email ADD-ONs just keep getting worse and making many of us entirely pissed off at the entity doing these "convenience" steps... But, I'm trying to be polite here. -

I hate the space-wasting "deals from this message" banner! Why does Yahoo force all this useless **** on us that we can't turn off, and makes email harder to use

why can't we choose to exclude this? I can figure out the deals myself. How stupid do you think I am??

I have had the same Yahoo account for 21years. That is a long time! In all that time I've never been more annoyed with a feature than "Deals from this message" (Deal View). I hate it and will be dropping Yahoo as my primary email in the next couple of weeks if you don't pull it.

I too would like to be able to turn off the deals section, or at least be able to pick what companies out of my emails I want to see on there.

100% agree - especially if you are paying for the upgraded Ad-Free yahoo email. i should have more capability to choose what i want to see or not.

This might be the feature that finally makes me move to gmail. The "Deals from this message" is intrusive and ugly. I now have to wade through a 1/2 a screen of junk to get to the email message. Not so bad if I'd planned on reading the entire email. But, it makes it much more difficult to delete emails at a glance. I am annoyed every time I open my email.

There's a new feature in my email viewer. It's "Deals from this message". I would like to turn this feature off. I've searched through "Settings", and it doesn't appear that there is an option to do this.

If I want "DEALS" and coupons, I will search for them on my own. PLEASE get rid of the "DEALS" and coupons banners. This is not what I have Yahoo email for.

Gmail has a feature that automatically places deal or promo emails from stores, etc. into a separate folder, rather than junking up the inbox and having to sift through EVERY DAY. I have considered switching to Gmail just for this genius feature.
