How can we improve New Mail?

I send links in most of my e-mails. Handling of links is now abysmal.

I send a link in most e-mails. In classic mail it would add a gif to the link from the linked web page. Now only a black box appears. Apparently your developers NEVER used classic mail to see its many useful features.
