I mistakenly marked an e-mail as Spam
I accidently marked an e-mail as Spam and it wasn't Spam. What can I do? I want to keep receiving those e-mails and I'm afraid I won't now. Please help!!!

The best way to resolve this is to mark the emails as “Not Spam”, that way you can train the spam filter to better identify important emails in the future. Also if you use a mobile device or email client to access your mail over IMAP, please check the Spam filters in that application, to make sure it’s not marking important emails as spam.

I have a Mac computer, and your site does not have a "not spam" button, no matter where I look for it, it is not there.

I don't understand why or how important incoming emails, that I have NOT marked as SPAM, are automatically going into my SPAM folder! Sometimes I DO get the emails correctly in my "Inbox", and they come from the exact same person and email address. HOW does this get corrected AS SOON AS POSSIBLE ?? !!

This new and wicked version of yahoo mail automatically defaults to a small font so everytime I write an email I have to manually go to 'large'. There seems no provision to update this to remain at large font. Also, I am finding some of my good contacts now in spam. Why is this? You had a good thing going and you just plain killed it for something that YOU think is better. Pay attention to the feedback you're getting. Most of us don't like this format and want the last one back. I may start using my gmail account because this sucks!

I posted about an issue of my emails automatically going to spam and my spam is going to my inbox. I put in detail that this was NOT A MISTAKE BY ME. It has happened on a few occasions, which i have to go in a remark the spam and remove my authorized emails from the spam folder. So...what does yahoo customer service do?? They move my comment to a post about how to unmark your spam email. Nice job!! How about just fix the problem!

My acceptable emails are going to spam, without prompting. Then, my spam began coming back to my regular inbox. What is going on? I am constantly having to mark items as spam, AGAIN, and mark spammed items as "not spam". What is happening with yahoo mail?

Important emails from saved contacts are being sent to spam since I was forced to take the new mail. The old version worked perfectly- why would you replace it with such an inferior version? Please bring back the old mail, or at least bring back the save contacts option.

I get emails from LinkedIn with invitations. Sometimes they come to my inbox, sometimes spam. When i mark them as not spam, they go back into my inbox - for the day. go back the following day and they are back in spam. I have marked them as NOT SPAM 5 times now. Went back into my spam folder again today and guess what, they have been marked as spam AGAIN!!!

In the last couple of months more and more legitimate mail is being put into spam, even from people it is clear from both received and SENT messages, there is a conversation going on. I am missing key emails and reminders of events etc I am registered to attend because of this.
I used to be able to check my spam folder weekly and clear it out with over 90% being real spam - it was great. Now I am having to remember to do it MULTIPLE TIMES A DAY because over 50% of mail filtered into the spam folder is not spam. -

You yanked Natural News from the Health Ranger Mike Adams, and another newsletter on homeopathy, both of which I had enrolled in, and both of which, obviously, I wanted to read. My dad didn't come home from WWII until I was four years old, because they wanted to defeat Hitler. I am sick of you current-day Hitler wannabees.

Legitimate emails are being sent to spam. Give users the option to flag legitimate emails as not spam. I am constantly saying a legitimate email is NOT SPAM and still the emails from one particular source end up in the spam folder.

Please stop purposely sending the White House emails I am subscribed to into my Spam folder.
I see that it is done all of the time. I can go to one of them in the Spam folder and mark it as "Not Spam" and days later it will be sent again into my Spam folder. I find that to be pretty offensive that a massive Mail company would try to undermine the President's administration in that way. It that an Antitrust offense?
