AP FACT CHECK: Dems on minimum wage and poverty
THIS is a hot topic for me and for alot of others I'm sure. $15/an hour will not afford you the luxury of a 1 b/r apartment these days. a 1200/ 1/br apt requires $48k income. if you're a single income earner - where's the differential coming from? Salaries should be based on MIT's Living Wage Calculator. Not some elite politician pushing this agenda expecting workers to be pleased with this b/s.
